We were so hungry for Sushi and hibachi! When checking for options the day before, the other restaurants that we checked were booked up. Our service was good but our shrimp was not cooked all the way. We should have asked them to cook it longer. Then the restaurant was very foggy even with the door cracked open on a cold night. My clothes had the restaurant odor the next day. It wasn’t horrible but we would not recommend.
The other day my boyfriend and I went to Nozawa (our favorite sushi spot around) and had a lunch date. The service is always great and the food is excellent. We started with miso soup and some fried calamari. This was our first time trying the fried calamari and it was very flavorful and we loooved the sauce it came with. Then we ordered some nigiri. The food here never ceases to amaze, you cannot get better quality to prize ratio on sushi, basically anywhere on earth, let alone in the Vail area. Fish quality is incredible with noticeable freshness. The only downside is that the teppanyaki tables smoke up the whole restaurant and really makes the experience a little less enjoyable. But overall, it has been a restaurant I go back to every time I’m in the area, and will continue to do so.
