“I came to the Fireside Grill as part of package deal through the Nordic Center to go snowshoeing for several hours before capping the day off with a generous plate of wine and cheese AND dessert! The food was delicious and Lizzie took phenomenal care of me as I enjoyed my meal. Her kindness and attentiveness was much appreciated. I highly recommend this experience through the Nordic Center as well as the Fireside Grill for its excellent food and lovely staff.”

“It was a bit of a labyrinth getting through the hotel maze to find the restaurant, but worth it. Small but interesting menu. We liked the creative drink options and truly enjoyed the Alpine Sangria. The blackened grouper was delicious, and the wedge salad with pork rind was just right, not over dressed. We sat outside on the patio, and just as the sun went down and temperatures cooled, they turned on the fire pits to keep us comfortable. Our waitress Finn was cheerful and efficient, and our host even offered our dog a bowl of water. We really liked the place and will definitely return!”

“Been to this nice restaurant many times and it’s always first class. Tonight my wife’s chicken was excellent. The wine was great. However, the Manhattan steak was not so good. The one that was brought out was extremely tough and even hard to cut into. Our lovely server offered to bring out a new one but I said I would fight through it. To her credit, she insisted on bringing out a new one and I asked for it to be Medallion cut. The replacement came out and should have been medium rare, but when I laid out the cuts it was simply very rare to raw with lots of fat as well. I simply refused to eat it and told her to just take it off the bill. To my surprise the wonderful Manager Dana immediately came over and admitted that they failed on the steak. He explained that they usually get great cuts from the provider, but recently not so much and he actually called the owner and told him they simply can’t be offering this kind of steak as this was not the first bad cut he has seen this evening. Dana did not charge me for the steak as well as the wine and offered a free desert. Dana did exactly what I’d expect a Manager to do in this caliber of a restaurant and that alone makes me want to come back again whichever we will do so!”

“I live in Avon and Northside is one of my go to places. They have a fantastic happy hour with Kat at the bar. Not only does she pour a great cocktail, bit is attentive and on the ball. She knows how to keep her customers happy. They should be thrilled to have her. The drinks are prefect and the food yummy. Better than most over the top expensive places in downtown Vail.”

“Amazing food and the atmosphere is cozy and private. We have the Bruschetta Pomodoro, Ceasar salad and 2 different Veal dishes. All the food was delicious and fresh. Highly recommend giving them a try.”

“Absolutely stellar dining experience. Everything about our dinner was perfect- the service, atmosphere and food. This is hands down the best food we have ever eaten. We ordered the four course “Le Menu Gourmand” and it was a delightful and delicious experience. Each course was as beautiful as it was scrumptious and each one was cooked to perfection. You can taste the passion and creativity that Master Chef Joly puts in each dish. We loved the elk tenderloin and the dessert symphony was spectacular. They even wrote “happy anniversary” on our dessert plates as my husband and I were celebrating our 4th wedding anniversary. Thank you Mirabelle and Master Chef Joly, for a delightful and unforgettable anniversary dinner. We will be back!”

“Firstly, their house red wine is a Chianti. SOLD! Ordered the Caesar salad (delightful and perfectly topped with breadcrumbs) and a solidddd Margherita pizza (reminded me of Italy!!). Loved it so much we ordered another round of everything plus some meatballs. 10/10 will be back again. Solid happy hour too!!!”
