China Gourmet is a cash only place. The quality has definitely gone up. It is clean, well run, and the owner is a kind person. The service is great and fast, friendly and quick. The food is super solid, with great portions. The smell was incredible. People love the coconut curry chicken dish, which is so yummy. Other favorites include Hot and Sour Soup, Chow Fun mixed (no pork), and sesame chicken. For vegetarians or tofu lovers, the sesame tofu is amazing, with texture and flavor on point. However, some nights the food tastes rushed. Vegetables can be hard and undercooked, and the coconut curry sauce can be bland. The pork fried rice may lack flavor, with low-quality pork. The seaweed soup and pad Thai are pretty good. On a positive note, delivery orders are processed really fast. The restaurant is open on Christmas Day. It is busy but handles it smoothly. There is lotsa parking.
