I cannot stress enough how incredible Moe's Orginal BBQ-Boulder truly is! For the last few months, I have been assisting my niece with her recent wedding as she lives in GA and the wedding was here in Boulder. From day one, everything that could go wrong - did go wrong. It's the best bbq around and Alex Kuzel is so sexy..... the way he marinates his meats.....I'd like to bbq those buns!
They are always out of key food items! Tonight the line cooks were spacing out looking at us order food, then out of the blue said, “86 pork!” After experiencing Moe’s being out of food so many other times, we just asked for our money back. Never again will I return!

Moe's Original BBQ in Boulder is a must stop whenever in town. The food is always delicious, with the Thanksgiving turkey sandwich being a favorite, along with the pulled pork, ribs, marinated slaw, and hush puppies. The brisket is tender with just the right amount of smoky, and the cider vinegar flavor of the slaw and slight mustard taste to the sauce compliment the beef well. The pulled pork sandwich is honestly one of the best ever. Fried catfish and hush puppies are also available. The food is always great, and the service is often above and beyond. The staff, including Amy and the manager Alex, are friendly, professional, and accommodating. One guest noted a mix-up with a pound of brisket takeout, but the issue was resolved without hassle. Another guest appreciated a thoughtful employee who asked before dumping iced tea and offered leftover sweet potato casserole to take home. The owner is a nice guy, and the entire team goes out of their way to provide incredible service, even for special events like a wedding dinner. The food is amazing, and the customer service is of the highest quality.
