Not super fancy, but with excellent service, this grill is conveniently located off the freeway, making it a quick stop for a drink or meal. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed, perfect for hanging out with friends, playing darts, or just enjoying the divey vibe. The bar has two pool tables and offers table rentals for 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 2 hours, so there’s no need to wait for quarters. The kitchen produces surprisingly good food for a local dive, with the $4 bean and cheese burrito being better than many higher-priced Mexican restaurants. Servers are attentive and helpful, adding to the welcoming environment. The bar also features a dice game where you can roll a die for a free shot, adding a fun touch. While the staff can sometimes be busy or seem distant, the prices, pool tables, and quality food make Sand Box Bar & Grill a popular, friendly spot that feels like home.
