“Met some friends here for the first time and love the place. Drinks are kind of pricey, but good quality, and there’s been lots of thought put into the atmosphere. Nice patio with pretty curtains to block the sun and plenty of plants. Friendly, attentive staff. We’ll be back!“

“Romero's consistently has a great selection of craft beers. The dog patio is a great addition if you have dogs or just want to see some dogs while sipping a beer. They have had a food truck every time I've been, if you need some food. I highly recommend you check it out!“

“We went for weekend brunch and shared a breakfast burrito and trashcan chilaquiles. Both were absolutely delicious! We also treated ourselves to a traditional mimosa and a beet margarita, also good. Service was fantastic. Will definitely come back again.“

“My boyfriend and I came here because we had a Groupon for a flight, cocktail, and distillery tour. It was awesome! The tour guide, Andy (I think that was his name) was very personable and down to earth. He had some good jokes/puns. The bartender was sweet and we met the owner briefly. We each chose different liquors for our flights and enjoyed each one plus our cocktails were great. My personal favorite for the flight was the V.I. Rum. After the tour we also got the maple bacon old fashioned which was different but equally delicious. Everything on the menu looked great and while we didn't try any of the food offerings, we will definitely be back. The bar was an intimate setting and the pinball machines were great. We live in Aurora but we can't wait to come back as this place is definitely worth the drive for us!“

I’m white and I have always gotten excellent service from whomever is tending.
Plus, this is a totally judgement- free zone . I have never ever ever felt unwelcome by the staff OR the patrons-and it’s super fun!
I just wish they served top shelf beers as well… but of course it is a DIVE bar :)“

“This place is AMAZING! The bartenders, the atmosphere, the people, the drinks, so good highly highly recommend! I will most definitely be going back here as like a go to spot. The atmosphere is so inviting and warm, the music isn’t super loud, there’s plenty of room and their drinks are incredible! We tried the 11:11 and the bartenders choice. This place is quite hidden, but it adds to the charm! Best to park in a parking lot and walk!“

“I have been coming here for years. From crawfish boils with the bayou boys to a fun night with my lady to play some games and have a laugh. Tonight really got me because I had a great time. There is a new bartender Adam who was on his second day out of training by himself. This guy got slammed on a random Tuesday and totally crushed the game. I have been in restaurants for over 30 years and I was stoked to see this guy making it all happen just out of the gate. Cheers to you monkey barrel! Keep crushing y'all. Can't wait to come back for some future fun times. The only thing I'm bummed about is that there are less pinball machines than there were before.“

Parking: The parking lot is small, maybe 15-18 spaces. If the lot is full, go by the bar, turn right at the next intersection, and park along the side of the road and walk around to the front of the bar.“

“Lil dive bar with tasty food and fun, friendly service. 3 pool tables and other activities available. This is a place for cool people. The badass cook with them red eyes is passionate about his craft, friendly and efficient. This is the best sub 30$ burger I've ever had. Available with fries and a pint of beer for 10$ and worth every penny. Check out Chaserz for a good time and a tasty meal.“
