Chicken Restaurants near Broomfield

“Decided to go to Foothills Mall for the first time in years. While there I wanted to try this place since I like spicy food, especially chicken. They have a very simple menu. Chicken tenders and a couple sides and drinks. I got the three tender meal with fries and a drink. The tenders can be in four spicy levels (I got medium) and they have four dipping sauces (I got mango habanero). They gave me a pager since the food is fried to order. It took a bit but I like that the food then is fresh and hot and this cuts down on food waste. The tenders I got were very hot and I had to wait a few minutes to cool down a bit. A small pool of oil collected at the bottom of the container. I’m guessing that they came out of the fryer with little time to drain and were then dusted in the spice mix. The fries were a good amount and were also dusted in a seasoning mix. I didn’t see ketchup packets or a dispenser at the food counter so not sure if you have to ask for them since the wait staff didn’t ask if I wanted any. Lucky the fries’ seasoning reminded me of the seasoned fries at Red Robin so I didn’t need the ketchup. The tenders were good sized and the meat was very juicy with a very light breading. The chicken had a noticeable texture that gave a chewiness that was not the best feel. The tenders on they own tasted good as well as the sauce. Not sure if it was the sauce, the tender’s seasoning, or both combined but by the heat kept building and at the end of the meal my nose felt a tiny bit runny. Not what I expected for a medium spice level. Not bad over all.“

“I did a taste test of 7 different fast food chicken sandwiches (Arby’s, Mcdonalds, Wendys, Popeyes, KFC, Burger King, and Chic Fil A). More than one claimed to be the best. After a blind taste test, Nick the drive thru guy at KFC was absolutely correct. KFC won hands down.“

“I had such an amazing experience at this Popeyes that I just had to share! From the moment I walked in, the team was friendly and welcoming, and what truly made it special was how kind and helpful the manager was. They went out of their way to make sure everything was just right, and I really appreciated their attention and care.

What absolutely made my day was that they made me fresh tenders when I ordered. That extra effort did not go unnoticed! The tenders were hot, crispy, and incredibly flavorful—juicy on the inside with that signature Popeyes seasoning that hits the spot every time. You could tell they were fresh from the first bite.

The sides were just as good—the mashed potatoes with Cajun gravy were smooth and comforting, and the biscuits were buttery and soft, exactly how you want them.

Even though the restaurant was busy, everything ran smoothly. The staff worked with a great attitude, and the whole place was clean and welcoming. The manager especially made the experience stand out with their professionalism and kindness.

“Visited for the first time ever. My gf and I both ordered the 2 sliders meal. It was good… although I’m eager to return and just try the tenders, which appear first on the menu. Upon returning and trying the chicken alone by itself, I could easily upgrade this to a 5.

⚠️ TO THE SPICE LOVERS OUT THERE ⚠️ Many reviewers say that it’s really hot chicken. If you eat spicy foods regularly and have a higher tolerance, I would suggest ordering extra hot or the hottest option available. I tried hot which is 2 below the hottest available option. It had heat to it, but it wasn’t in the optimal area of satisfaction VS spice. Coming from a person that eats more spicy things than the average person.

Nonetheless I enjoyed the meal and absolutely clobbered it. The pickles offered on the side are a nice touch. They taste fresh, and I’m sure go well with any slider or tender. I chose to eat them on their own, which I imagine can be a nice spice break if you order one of the hotter options. The sliders that we had (pictured) had cheese added… and alongside the coleslaw I’m sure numbed some of the pain.

Overall as a spice lover… I was left satisfied but wondering just how good it could get. So I recommend if you like spicy spicy things try extra hot at a minimal. If you don’t like spice at all order something much less and you will still have an enjoyable experience. It’s good chicken no doubt, blows Caine’s out of the water as far as quality goes. Small, simple menu that delivers the execution you expect from a chain with such dedication to smaller perfections!“

“The fried chicken is delicious, some of the best I've ever had, as are the biscuits. The side salad was uninspired with tiny bites of cucumber and one cherry tomato. The old fashioned cocktail with huckleberry tasted like cough syrup. Our server was wonderful! Pleasant, efficient and very charming.“

“Went here for lunch this late afternoon, just wanted to come on here and shout out a young man named Micheal that was our cashier he was such a vibe, very happy and polite making conversation with everyone who walked in, helping throw away trash, takong orders and delivering table side service. I was happy to encounter him. You dont see people so pleasant in the work force these days so definitely a breath of fresh air. Great job Micheal!“

“This place is the bomb! And open from 10AM to Midnight..it is awesome! The food is superb and hot always. I have never had a bad order and the counter and kitchen staff and all so friendly, and accommodating, bright and personable and do their job with a warm smile to greet you.
It is the best chicken in America, a well loved American tradition and their sides and everything is wonderful. They have pastry and cakes too! And taco menu is superb and off the charts tasty! Meanwhile the prices are very decent for what you get. Look out for the different day specials too like Wednesday for chicken fried steak!
Their soda machines are so clean and the whole place shines with cleanliness.

“It's been awhile since I've ordered KFC, for it being extremely small chicken and Dry but I saw a deal they had going on and thought what the heck and SUPER glad I did. This chicken we got last night was some of the best Fried chicken we've had in awhile. Crispy, juicy and very decent large pieces, the food was still steaming hot when it arrived and flavorful. Definitely ordering here soon again!! 🩷😋“
