“Overall great experience. The tostada, empanada, and flautas were the highlight for us. They seemed to have forgot our short rib taco plate and when we asked the server made an off hand comment asking if we had somewhere we needed to be. The plate came out about 20 minutes later. It seemed strange for that to happen at a restaurant like this.”

“I did some research on local restaurants before my 3 day trip to Denver and was so happy to have found Lucina Eatery. Let's start with the vibe and atmosphere. I felt right at home. The staff was fantastic from Alexander Moon (GM) to Billie (bartender with the right amount of sass, playfullness and desire to please). NOW FOR THE FOOD. Well I went back 2x over the 3 days the food was so good, I sat at the bar (a lot of fun since I was by myself) and felt totally welcome and comfortable. THE CEVICHE and BROCOLLI were to die for. I have 4 orders of Ceviche. I love this place and will be back”

“This was the best sushi I have ever tasted in my entire life. I have never been to Japan but I can only imagine that it tastes like this. The yellow tail sashimi was AMAZING. It was so buttery and smooth and it tasted so amazing. I can still remember how incredibly it tasted and my mouth is watering thinking about it.”

“Talk about filling a void you never knew existed! Holy Moses! We decided to stop in here since it’s so close to the VRBO, and good lord am I glad we did! My wife ordered the original, MIL and I ordered the Al Pastor, and I have never been so happy and sad at the same time! The sandwich was divine! I can’t stand that it’s gone but so happy I had it. Haha the atmosphere in the place is so down to earth and raw with it’s authenticity its a unique feel in todays gentrified aesthetics. AJ the owner (I believe) was super accommodating and extremely approachable and friendly. Good chance that we will try and make a stop before we go home again!

“Improper City is one of the few places that actually have a non alcoholic on tap along with local non alcoholic beers. Great place to enjoy the nice weather as one of best patios in Rino.”

“This place is absolutely amazing! I ordered the Steak Frites and chef cooked the steak to perfection. So good!”

“The food was amazing. Wine list was great. Very small, intimate setting for maybe 20 guests. The chef does everything, from greeting you when you walk in, taking your order, cooking your food, delivering your food and drinks and clearing the table. Only downside is after 12 years he is closing to pursue another opportunity at a different kitchen.”

“Of course the food was stellar, but if we could give 10 stars for our server, David and the whole entire stuff we would. You can tell that the whole Service staff, including culinary basically believes that they're part of an orchestra, and everybody plays their part. Awesome teamwork you can tell just by sitting and watching everybody.”

Came here last night after getting glutened by a new Asian restaurant in town and was pretty down and trying to salvage the night - told Zuri about this and she came back with their whole menu highlighted with what I could and couldn’t have to make it easy for me!! Truly made my night, made me feel comfortable eating and on top of it everything was amazing! Loved the truffle edamame, 3 piece, and DIY Tamaki. Zuri was wonderful - will definitely be coming back! “Awesome food with energetic vibe. The tomato tart dish was excellent. The scallops and beef dishes were cooked perfectly. Overall great. None of the dishes were too heavy so we were able to enjoy dessert. The sorbet complimented the meal nicely. Perfect for a night on the town.”
