“I had put a note on Open Table that it was my husband's birthday. He was greeted by staff wishing him happy birthday. We had fun drinks and a delightful meal. Very tasty, gf for me. Delicious. Service was good until dinner, then we lost our server. My husband had to go looking for his drink that had been ordered, and dessert wasn't offered until long after our meal. We ended up going around the corner for dessert. It was a fun meal, and delicious, but service was uneven.“

“Carlos' Bistro – one of the best places my wife and I have been to. I took my wife here for her birthday. As we parked, Carlos was standing outside. As we were walking to the restaurant, he came walking up to us and introduced himself. We all go in and my wife and I are seated. There were 4 other couples in the restaurant. And the first thing I noticed, and really liked, was the ambience. Just enough light, quiet to where my wife and I could have a conversation. Our server, Liz, was phenomenal. She knew the menu inside and out. She has been with Carlos for many years. And she was one you could easily trust with recommendations from the menu. The food was top notch. The appetizers were just right – not too much to fill you up before dinner arrived. And I have to say, the music playlist on the evening we went was all 80s (my jam). Again, not too loud, but just enough for us to enjoy the music while being able to have a conversation. And here's the other thing my wife and I noted to each other – not once, during the entire evening, did we ever look at our phones (we are sometimes very bad about this). Carlos came by and checked with everyone. It is clear he really cares that his customers have a great experience. And when my wife and I go back again, we're going to plan for it to be an evening where Liz is there. There was nothing negative about Carlos' Bistro. If you've never been, it is well worth going. You won't be disappointed!“

“Went for Valetines day and was very disappointed. We booked with the manager herself and was told if we did not show we would be charged. We arrived and had to wait 90 plus minutes and they cared less. Beware they added a 3% mandatory hospitality fee and a 20% mandatory gratuity. All in all, they persuaded us not to return. 100% focus seemed to be on the business thier profits and minimal to us the patrons. We cued in the waiting area with others who also seemed to be waiting like us for thier over selling.“

“The perfect fall meal! The cold brew with coconut cream was so refreshing, while the hot toddy brought all the cozy fall vibes. Pair that with their delicious Cuban sandwich, and you’ve got comfort food at its best. Plus, Shuga’s has a gorgeous patio that makes the whole experience even better. Amazing flavors, great atmosphere, and the best place to soak up the season!“

“This was our 1st time at Lazy Dog. We had the bison burgers and they were amazing! Our waitress was Jamie and she was so good.... Very attentive and helpful. The manager, Alex, introduced himself and they both made us feel special. We will definitely be eating there again. Highly recommend.“

“The entire staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Kailan was delightful as our server answering all the questions we had...and there were lots! Emma did the same as she prepared our delicious Cheese Experience. It was another very enjoyable visit to The Black Forest Bistro! Maybe Chef Deanna will come back from Europe (Spain?) with another inspiration which we'll enjoy next time...“

“We came with a large group for a work dinner. I had the 4-course with wine pairing, which was nothing short of spectacular. Dave was our server and handled the large group with ease and humor. We ate most of the menu and the dishes were all unique interpretations, and maintain the tasty, seasonal feel of late summer. I would absolutely recommend and will love coming back.“

“District Elleven is a total vibe—moody, modern, and tucked just off Tejon in downtown Colorado Springs. We stopped in on a Tuesday and were pleasantly surprised to find happy hour running from 4pm to close (yes, all night!). The Drink of the Week was a total standout—The Myagi Blossom, made with gin, Aperol, honey lavender, and lemon, topped with boba. Light, balanced, and not too sweet—just right. It was fun, creative, and refreshing. We sampled several small plates and honestly, they were more generous than expected. Highlights: the perfectly crispy arancini, the hummus plate (topped with caramelized onions and served with warm bread, carrots, and cucumbers—my personal favorite), patatas vovo (a delicious spin on a classic), and the artichoke de fritas, which were divine. For cocktails, the Sazerac had a bold nod to New Orleans—traditional with a whisper of absinthe that hit all the right notes. I ended the night with a dirty vodka martini served with blue cheese-stuffed olives—beautifully done. We also shared an affogato for dessert, which was the perfect finish. Service was also top-notch—our server handled both the bar and our table with ease, making us feel genuinely welcome and well cared for. This place is a gem. Whether you’re just out for drinks or looking to graze and linger, District Elleven nails the ambiance, flavors, and hospitality. We’ll definitely be back.“

“I came here for a work meeting and was greeted by Mandy, who was excellent at her job. She had me try a drink (which I swear she telepathically knew what I would like!) and she sold me on it! She was nice, relatable and apparently psychic! She was my favorite part of my experience and excelled at her job description +! I recommend for sure!“

“DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. I used Garden of the Gods Catering & Events for my wedding earlier this month and it was a disaster from the beginning. My trouble starts back in July when I tried to get ahold of someone to change my dinner time. It took over two months and me reaching out to general phone numbers and emails to get ahold of someone, mind you I had already paid in full so I couldn't back out or else I would have. Turns out the gal I was in contact with no longer works for the company. It came down to less than two weeks before my wedding day that I finally was able to get in touch with someone. When I hadn’t heard anything from the gal I had spoken to in the couple days prior over the phone, I emailed the general events@ email. I get an email after expressing my deep concern for my catering order in general saying “Hi, I emailed you yesterday. Did you not get it?”. Obviously if I’m reaching out, I didn’t receive anything, right? I thought we were good to go once I had a phone call and other email exchange with the gal that was taking over my day. I thought I would be able to brush communication mishap under the rug. Cut to dinner time on my wedding day. I realize it is far past the arrival time on my contract & dinner was supposed to be getting set up more than 30 mins ago. After frantically calling and sending an email, it took my father to go out & see if he could find the caterers down the road to learn that the truck has been stuck. I then get an email saying “I tried to email you”. How did that email go through but the first one didn’t? Then another email saying “I tried calling”. I had been at this lodge for 2 nights at this point had zero trouble with service or getting calls/texts/emails through. We also had two different caterers and a rental service come to the lodge also with zero service/communication difficulties. Because of this failure of communication, we ate dinner far later than planned, the food was cold & rolls hard as rocks. This also meant other parts of the wedding were pushed, causing my photographer to have to stay longer than the contract. I sent an email to the gals I had been in touch with and still have yet to get an email or phone call back.“

“We absolutely loved this restaurant. The service was impeccable. Honestly, our server was one of the best we’ve had. The food was equally impressive. I had the halibut and loved it. It’s expensive, but you get what you pay for at this restaurant.“

“Every time we come to sacred grounds, the food dessert and drinks never disappoint whether it’s breakfast lunch or dinner. I’ve never had a bad meal here. I am also obsessed with the lemon blueberry cake, it is the best cake I have ever had in my life. The outdoor patio is so beautiful and cozy. Natasha is so friendly!“

“Not what I was expecting for a top suggested restaurant. Music to load couldn't here each other talk. Not much of a menu selection. Staff was great. Atmosphere was nice. Had more of a club vibe with a menu.“
“We took our kids to the Cheyenne mountain zoo and chose to stay at the Marriott. No one told us the zoo was up hill both ways, but it was beautiful. After deciding we were too tired to go out we had dinner at Ascent. Our server Cameron was fantastic and very polite. We were surprised at the portions and the food was very good. Thank you again Cameron for a great experience. We'll definitely stay again.“
