“My husband and I visited for my birthday and we both had a great experience. I did make a note when reserving that it was my birthday and the restaurant made an effort to wish me a happy birthday! My angus ribeye was cooked perfectly and was very delicious. A very beautiful restaurant and a very cool experience! All the staff was very welcoming and friendly. The only things I would comment on is the lack of waiting area to be seated and the noise level, but giving it was a busy Saturday night I give grace for that. Overall, I had a great birthday experience and meal and would love to visit again.“

“Carlos' Bistro remains a local icon. We had not been in several years but were so glad to return recently. This is a traditional restaurant with the highest standard of food and personal service. Carlos still oversees that everything is perfect. Where else do they ask and remember your names? Stephanie was also outstanding, as were our salad, soup, and entrees. Highly recommended!“

We were seated promptly, greeted with genuine warmth, and served by a team that clearly takes pride in their work. Our server knew every special by heart — a rare thing these days — and the tableside chef turned dinner into a performance, melting parmesan into a creamy, rich sauce right before our eyes. The shrimp was the perfect addition, and the garlic bread was a great accompaniment. A must. The atmosphere was just right — lively but comfortable enough for real conversation. “We came with a large group for a work dinner. I had the 4-course with wine pairing, which was nothing short of spectacular. Dave was our server and handled the large group with ease and humor. We ate most of the menu and the dishes were all unique interpretations, and maintain the tasty, seasonal feel of late summer. I would absolutely recommend and will love coming back.“

“District Elleven is a total vibe—moody, modern, and tucked just off Tejon in downtown Colorado Springs. We stopped in on a Tuesday and were pleasantly surprised to find happy hour running from 4pm to close (yes, all night!). The Drink of the Week was a total standout—The Myagi Blossom, made with gin, Aperol, honey lavender, and lemon, topped with boba. Light, balanced, and not too sweet—just right. It was fun, creative, and refreshing. We sampled several small plates and honestly, they were more generous than expected. Highlights: the perfectly crispy arancini, the hummus plate (topped with caramelized onions and served with warm bread, carrots, and cucumbers—my personal favorite), patatas vovo (a delicious spin on a classic), and the artichoke de fritas, which were divine. For cocktails, the Sazerac had a bold nod to New Orleans—traditional with a whisper of absinthe that hit all the right notes. I ended the night with a dirty vodka martini served with blue cheese-stuffed olives—beautifully done. We also shared an affogato for dessert, which was the perfect finish. Service was also top-notch—our server handled both the bar and our table with ease, making us feel genuinely welcome and well cared for. This place is a gem. Whether you’re just out for drinks or looking to graze and linger, District Elleven nails the ambiance, flavors, and hospitality. We’ll definitely be back.“
