Panera Bread in Colorado Springs

“There’s a weird smell when you walk in, and if you *actually* look behind the counter, there appears to grease or something on some ceiling tiles, especially near the vents. Not sure what’s up with that, but my food has always been good. I never eat in though, the smell is pretty funky.“

“Fantastic experience with the crew and a clean restaurant including the patio area. Their manager brought us our food directly because they were having problems with their pagers and we were unaware. He even offered to remake our food if it had gotten too cold.“

“I had everything bagels with cream cheese and butter, and green tea. It hit the spot. My friend had soup and salad. The service was friendly and fast. We enjoyed our booth seating two. It was private and yet open enough to enjoy the restaurant’s atmosphere. I loved the Bible quote from John posted in the front. The only reason why I gave the atmosphere only four stars is that some tables were stacked with dirty dishes. I cleared the table across from us.“

“I’ve visited this Panera a few times and it’s always busy at lunch. You need to order online before you arrive to avoid sitting and waiting too long. The atmosphere is bustling and isn’t all that welcoming. The food is good - as you’d expect at Panera. Last time I went I had to wait an extra 5 mins for my food (longer than the app said it would take). Not a big deal, but this place doesn’t really meet my expectations.“

“Young lady severing us, Summer, made my coffee to perfection. And because of that I keep coming back. Even if she isn't on duty. This store is warm and inviting and it isna good place where friends can meet. Quiet, clean and surrounded by good food and wonderful staff.“

“Staff was very friendly. We ordered a dipper sandwich that didn't have the dip, another sandwich that was missing avocado, and a fuji apple chicken salad that was missing the chicken. Fortunately, we were eating there, so we were able to walk up to the counter and resolve 2 of the 3 issues (my daughter didn't want to go ask for avocado so she just ate her sandwich without it). I'd check my food before driving off if in the drive-thru or check to-go orders before leaving the store. But the food was pretty tasty (I had the center of some red onion on my salad, which gave some bites a really strong red onion taste). I probably won't get the autumn squash soup again. It wasn't bad, but just didn't do anything for me flavor-wise. The frozen hot chocolate and regular hot chocolate were quite delicious.“
