“Amazing food and amazing service. My dad has Celiac disease and cannot have gluten, and I like eating vegan. We had no trouble ordering food at all. There is great food for everyone, including anyone with dietary restrictions. I would highly recommend this restaurant!“

“Mama Africa is under new ownership, and we went last weekend to celebrate a birthday. The service was great, the food was delicious, and we'll definitely be back. There isn't a ton of parking in the lot for the little strip mall, but we found a spot with no problem. I highly recommend Mama Africa for delicious, authentic, affordable Ethiopian food with excellent service.“

“The FOOD was amazing! The staff was friendly and happy to explain the dishes. I personally loved the way she poured the food onto the platter. Made it extra special. I loved the Beef tips so much flavor and so juicy! I can’t wait to come back! Keep up the good work Lucy Ethiopian Restaurant!!!“
“I have stopped in here a couple times when I have been in the area - it is a wonderful place run by a family that makes you feel super welcome. You can either get a coffee and a snack or sit down for a plate of food if you are hungrier. The owner is extremely friendly and fun to talk to. The first time I came here and ordered a coffee, they gave us the whole coffee ceremony where they bring out incense to your table. Do yourself a favor and visit them here!“

“Great customer service and exquisite food with large portions. Was a great idea for a birthday dinner everyone loved the range of vegetarian dishes and the bread was delicious and very light to digest . Highly recommend giving this place a go if you like myself haven’t eaten Ethiopian regularly . A great time to try new food and support the local community kitchens that make Sydney road a special place to be in :)“

“Very nice relaxed and classy atmosphere. The authentic ethiopian food is great and very filling. I have heard the weekend night time vibes can be alot of fun, will return and report back.
I enjoyed the jazz music playing while we ate lunch.

“We went here for New Year’s Eve. It was absolutely outstanding! The owner and staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food from the meat plate to the vegetarian one every part was wonderful. Our whole family is four and the children are young adults ate for $76 and took food home. We entered dinner with a delicious spice tea.Wow! What a lovely start New Year’s evening. We will definitely be coming again and you should too.“
