Rễ Tre Restaurant Reviews
Absolutely incredible meal.
The food was decent, but the waiter wasn’t very friendly, and the manager wasn’t very welcoming either. The menu also doesn’t offer many options for kids.
I honestly wanted to give this place 2 or 3 stars, but since it’s a newly opened restaurant, I decided to leave this review as constructive feedback for the owner. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

I am so happy that Re Tre opened in the former New Saigon space. We went recently for a celebration. The staff was wonderful throughout the meal. We ordered the seafood clay pot and rice paper wrap plate. Everything was so fresh and flavorful.
We are excited to return again and again.

Rễ Tre Restaurant is a newly opened Vietnamese restaurant in the former New Saigon space on Federal Boulevard. The new space is beautiful, modern, and stylish, and a great spot to enjoy a meal and cocktails. The atmosphere feels elevated, though the lamps could use a good dusting. The staff was wonderful, warm, friendly, attentive, and hospitable throughout the meal. The service was punctual from start to finish. The food came out quickly and was delicious, fresh, and flavorful. The menu offers the seafood clay pot, rice paper wrap plate, Cua Rang Moi, Vietnamese egg rolls, iced coffee, Pandan cupcake, crispy fried tofu, papaya salad with pork and shrimp, chilled spring rolls, and clay pot chicken. The crispy fried tofu is to die for, and the clay pot chicken is absolutely lip-smacking. Anything with the pork is delicious. However, the waiter was not very friendly, the manager was not very welcoming, and the menu does not offer many options for kids. Rễ Tre makes a quiet statement about authenticity, resilience, and Vietnamese heritage. It is a solid choice for Vietnamese cuisine with very good food, though the food is a bit more savory than Dan Da.
