Can't believe I found fantastic Creole food in the Denver! Food: 5, Atmosphere: 5, Service: 5, Value: 5 I've been to this place twice: once when it was still Sassafras and once today after the transition to Exile Kitchen. The place has a comfy, cute interior ! However, I wish the parking around the area was easier and wish there was outdoor seating so we could bring our dog! We walked in around 10 without a reservation and sat at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and offered a sample of one of the bloody Mary's when I asked how spicy it was. We had two different bloody Mary's and they were delicious as were the toppings. The fish and grits was delicious but a little on the salty side since it is blackened. My husband had the biscuits and gravy breakfast and that was good too. We will be back. Don't miss the drink flights.

Amazing food and impeccable service! For once, a great Cajun restaurant in Denver! Thank you Christal and Sydney for the excellent service and awesome drinks. Can't wait to return.
