Absolutely delicious 😋
You know it’s gonna be when you’re the only gringo! I got two burritos but definitely want to go back to try the tacos because the burritos are fire.
I only posted the four tacos I got, but I also got a torta de Al pastor. Me and the Mrs. shared 2 tacos and split the torta in half, along with a Coca-Cola Mexicana and a Jarritos de mandarina.
The salsa had big flavor. The salsa verde had some heat to it, with a solid jalapeño base, and was nice and chunky. The salsa roja was the chiller of the two.

Tacos Sabor Chilango is a food truck with shaded seating and tables and chairs adjacent to the truck, with tarps that provide shade and some protection from the elements, plus a place where you can wash your hands. The atmosphere is awesome. This is true tacos de guisado style. The menu includes Suadero, Lengua, Al Pastor, Cabeza, Chorizo, Tripa, Carnitas, Asada, Tortas, Quesadillas, and burritos, along with a Coca-Cola Mexicana, a Jarritos de mandarina, and a tall Bottled Mexican Coke. The suadero is phenomenal, the cabesa is insanely tender, and the tripe has the best flavor. The tripas are perfectly cooked, super flavorful, and crazy suave. The al pastor and lengua tacos had well prepared meat that was tender, seasoned nicely, and of good portion. The tortilla was of excellent quality and properly prepared/heated. Even the corn tortillas had flavor. The salsa had big flavor, the salsa verde had some heat to it with a solid jalapeño base and was nice and chunky, and the salsa roja was the chiller of the two. The salsa is generous, flavorful, and straight up addicting. The bread on the tortas looked nice and golden but so soft, with great portions of meat just like the tacos. Quick service, tasty food, cheap prices, clean location, great value, great vibes. Very affordable. This is a 10/10 spot. Careful in the area, pretty sketchy outside of the actual food area.
