We had the inside scoop on the owner and chef at this place. It will not disappoint! Food is generous, super flavorful. Service is outstanding! Fantastic wine selection! I wish more places like this existed because it’s a classic and a real treasure. If you’re in the area, go, if you’re close to the area you should make the effort.

The food was absolutely INCREDIBLE!!!! Chef's kiss! 🤌🏻 I ordered the Chef's Special Ravioli and it was the best decision I've ever made at an Italian restaurant. The spinach flavor of the actual pasta came through beautifully, mixed with the lush melty cheese filling and the lemony sauce over it all with the steamed asparagus, paired with the side of shrimp I added was the match made in heaven that I didn't even know I needed.

The Cherry Tomato is a perfect neighborhood restaurant with excellent food and generous cocktails. Customers can sit in the front windows and watch the world go by. The restaurant has a charming atmosphere with amazing art, music, and lighting that complement each other perfectly. The food is very flavorful with generous portions, and the Veal Saltimbocca is particularly delicious. The grilled calamari and tiramisu are also exceptional, though some dishes could be more faithful to Italian cuisine. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing great service and suggestions for the meal. The Cherry Tomato is a local, classic mom and pop Italian restaurant that has become a favorite among the neighborhood. It’s very family friendly and reasonably priced, with traditional Italian dishes and fairly priced wines by the glass. The experience is great, though the pacing of service could improve. Many wish they took reservations.
