WoW Cafe

When my wife and I were in the Cherry Creek area of Denver on our Colorado trip, we had dinner at the Elway's restaurant. The service, the menu and the atmosphere of the restaurant were excellent. The restaurant had a lot of people dinning and all of them looked very happy.

Overall, not really keeping up with other steakhouse chains. Server was excellent. Cheerful. Good at making you feel good about your choices. Well trained. Had worked their 6 years (I asked) which means probably a pretty well run front of house operation. Wine list seems to be a 2.5x markup. Extensive list with wines up to $13,000 a bottle. Overall this was a decent visit, but just seemed to lack that 'special feel' like we have had in past visits. The food was really good, but again, just not a fantastic meal. We oredered two different salmon dishes and the boneless ribeye. Good, but for the price it just didn't hang with it's comparably priced competition.
