Neil was great. The food exceeded our expectations. We had the Chicken Marsala and the Beet Salad and both were very good.
Our dinner at Purgys was fabulous! I was a little hesitant due to the lower overall reviews but it far exceeded my expectations! We went for dinner and were informed they have a new chef. Our meals were absolutely fabulous. I had the Salmon Special and my husband had the burger special. We also got the Duck Confit tacos as an app that was also a special. Purgy's Restaurant, located on the mountain at Purgatory Resort, offers a dining experience after a day of skiing or activities. The French onion soup and elk sliders were fantastic, while the salmon Caesar salad remains a highlight with perfectly cooked salmon. The burgers are well-made and tasty, and the Chicken Saltimbocca is cooked well. The beer selection is great, but cocktails can be hit or miss. The view is undoubtedly the best part, and the servers are friendly and mostly attentive, though service can be slow when the restaurant is crowded. Prices are reasonable compared to other ski resort options. Purgy's is a solid choice for a meal at Purgatory, offering good food and service in a convenient location, though it can feel understaffed at times.
