“Jamie - it’s clear that everyone appreciates her, customers and coworkers alike. She’s friendly, even-keeled, and at ease, even in a rush. She’s wonderful and attentive. A clear multitasker, serving and behind the bar. I’d come back just for her level of service but the food is not to be ignored either. Definitely became one of my favorite brunch spots in the area, easily. Food came out fast, hot, and delicious. I sat in a seat for way too long and wasn’t bothered or pushed out. “Be aware they are now charging a “service charge”. It’s was not noted on the menu nor did the server inform us of the charge. The only reason I found out is I requested a printed receipt. The receipt recommended an additional tip be between 2-7% on top of the charge. Yet when I paid the machine prompted an additional 15 or 18% tip so I tipped 18 even tho our service was bad cuz I use to be a server. The unfortunate part is I didn’t look at the receipt for over a week after I visited. I’m very disappointed that I’m being charged a “service fee” and at no time was it ever brought to my attention that this is a new thing.“

“Great people, Great decorations calm and comfy atmosphere with great lighting. My family didn't want to pay for parking so we came here straight here from the train/AmTrack and they even gave us a spot to set down our luggage. The menu had Great variety and average cost was $8-15 per meal. I just ate the sunny side eggs and it tasted great. The French toast is also awesome and super filling I'm half full after 1 cut. wait time for food was 5-10 minutes and the eggs were perfect I just took the picture after taking a bite. Overall great place would highly recommend for a family to eat and expect to be full.“

The chicken liver toast ($10) is not only gorgeous, but also delicious and full of different textures. Their Texas toast is made with high-quality heirloom grains, which I also thought was cool.

Popcorn chicken ($10) was fantastic! Juicy inside, perfectly crispy on the outside, but not too crunchy or overbreaded. Highly recommend any of their fried chicken dishes after having that!

The sashimi platter was beautiful and tasted great, but at $26, I’d honestly pass on this next time and get sashimi at a sushi spot.

The dry-aged half duck was sooooooo good! Perfectly cooked and so much flavor, even in the purple lettuce leaves on the side (not sure exactly what they were). It’s the most expensive main at $78, but considering the quality and that it is easily big enough for two, I’d say that’s reasonable. I’d love to try the pork chop char siu next time ($65) — and their wagyu short rib is only $58 (all these are meant to be for two people).“

“Always start with the good stuff. In general the food was very good. Almost as good as the service. If you want to be taken care of by pros, go here. The Som had the night off but the manager Chris knew his wines and did an outstanding job of helping me pair two great wines. with our meal. We did the small plate thing and it worked well. There were 7 of us and there was enough that everyone got something they loved. We shared the $135 steak and that was a great choice! The only very small glitch in the entire evening was the dessert menu was very simple so it shouldn't have taken almost 15 minutes to bring them to the table. Otherwise an excellent evening with good food, a well above average wine cellar and excellent service!“

“What a pleasant surprise! Forget the chain breakfast places down the street... GO HERE! I am vegetarian and my husband eats meat and they had a ton of great options for both of us. I got a breakfast burrito smothered with vegetarian green chili and it hit the spot. I have trouble finding green chili without meat and theirs was to die for. My husband loved his breakfast sandwich too. And my burrito was huge. Super friendly service. So very fast. We can't wait to come back! “This is a hidden gem of Denver and as the name states - it will REVIVE you! This is a breath of fresh air for the neighborhood. try the gumbo, the Revival burger, and DEFINITELY go listen to all the amazing musicians that grace this place. The drink menu and specialty cocktails will knock your socks off. Do yourself a favor and give it a go. You will be happy you did.“

Imagine my surprise when I entered the wine bar at Satchel’s with a group of friends to be seated for a wedding luncheon that began with the first of seven tasting courses of food that was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious!
