“Jamie - it’s clear that everyone appreciates her, customers and coworkers alike. She’s friendly, even-keeled, and at ease, even in a rush. She’s wonderful and attentive. A clear multitasker, serving and behind the bar. I’d come back just for her level of service but the food is not to be ignored either. Definitely became one of my favorite brunch spots in the area, easily. Food came out fast, hot, and delicious. I sat in a seat for way too long and wasn’t bothered or pushed out. “Be aware they are now charging a “service charge”. It’s was not noted on the menu nor did the server inform us of the charge. The only reason I found out is I requested a printed receipt. The receipt recommended an additional tip be between 2-7% on top of the charge. Yet when I paid the machine prompted an additional 15 or 18% tip so I tipped 18 even tho our service was bad cuz I use to be a server. The unfortunate part is I didn’t look at the receipt for over a week after I visited. I’m very disappointed that I’m being charged a “service fee” and at no time was it ever brought to my attention that this is a new thing.“

“Best meal ever! We eat out plenty, but this one is up there. 🙌 We had the pork chop, clam chowder (special for the night), Gorgonzola stroganoff, bread pudding and crème brûlée. Great service, great food, great atmosphere. It was the kind of place where you aren’t even sure what you want your last bite to be because it you want it all one more time. 10/10 recommend!!!“

“We had the most amazing experience at The Original. It was our birthday and my sister and I went to enjoy breakfast. We had the most genuine, kind server name Teej and he made the whole experience just absolutely amazing. The management and Teej were so sweet to us and just made us feel so so special. And then on top, the food was so tasty and flavorful. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone to go enjoy food and the wonderful service here!“

“We ordered the “walk with us” & it was sensational!

The service was wonderful and we were even able to chat with the chef. There were flavors and textures I never knew existed. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted absolutely delicious.

We both left full and happy with the selection of appetizers and sides as well as the serving sizes for two.

“My boyfriend is always looking for somewhere to take me with variety and unique flavors to try. He succeeded here, and it was one of my favorite dining experiences in the area so far. We were running a few minutes behind our reservation and called ahead. This was handled in a supportive and understanding manner and did not impact our visit at all. The staff were friendly and professional, from the kind woman who greeted us upon entry to the attentive waitstaff and manager who checked in several times throughout our meal. We were very satisfied with the service.
I had the pleasure of tasting several cocktails and each was a balance of flavors thoroughly enjoyed. The attention given to each dish by the culinary crafters was precise and beautifully plated. A highlights was being served one of two available tuna collar portions. This was well prepared and we savored every bite.
Other menu items that stood out for me include the pierogi which had a wonderful sweetness pulling the flavors together, and the lamb shank shared between us. There are other reviews mentioning the brioche rolls and butter bears and they are right to do so. It was a lovely way to kick of a memorable dining experience.

“Everything was good except the way that we started off the night. We were there to celebrate our anniversary, which they did bring us a complementary glass of champagne, which was very nice. As petty as it is, we had three minutes to spare for the happy hour, and by the time the waitress came to us the time had expired. We tried to order a drink at the last minute, but she wouldn't even entertain it. When you're spending $250 on a meal and the weight staff can't even help you to get a cheap drink right out the gate. It sets a bad experience. Customer service lacks when you have a two hour happy hour and you can't validate a last-minute request. It just looks poorly on such a high establishment that they're not willing to give you a small discount at the last minute. “

Imagine my surprise when I entered the wine bar at Satchel’s with a group of friends to be seated for a wedding luncheon that began with the first of seven tasting courses of food that was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! Andrew, the chef/owner, is not only innovative with ingredients, but he and his staff really care about their customers’ pleasure and comfort. If I am ever able to return to the Denver area again, Satchel’s will be my first go-to destination. The luncheon was 1st class all the way.“

Apple crumble tasted like baked oatmeal with apple and bland. Overall, go there for drinks and ambience and service but be mindful about the food.“

“Amazing service by not only the floor staff, but as well from management! Colorado Campfire, feels like the type of bar where everyone knows you name. You feel invited and welcome. Eva is a excellent mixologist. Johnny was extremely helpful when deciding what food to order and Reese handled a 10 person table with ease.
