“I’ve never actually gotten pho from here, go figure. Their Chinese food is too good to try anything else. It’s probably the best I've had in Denver and I’ve been A LOT of Chinese restaurants in Colorado. My girl and I usually order wontons and coconut shrimp for apps but truly all the apps are great. Egg rolls are those small crispy ones you see on food channels, so good. For entrees we’ve tried orange chicken, sesame chicken, combo beef and chicken lo mein, buddah feast, and all the fried rices they offer and every single time it’s the best Chinese food we’ve had in Denver. Staff is great and they’re on it. Food comes out piping hot and you can tell it’s made with love. Truly a diamond in the rough.“

“Generally speaking the food is consistent. House made dumplings and noodles can’t be compared. I should have written something years ago about how great they are. They have another location in Washington Park but I haven’t visited. Overall my family and friends have coming over the years and we are just astonished. It used to be a space where restaurants kept on changing and FWTT has become a staple in Cherry Creek. I hope the community realizes this hidden gem for what it is. Great food, incredible wine and maybe one of the best patios in the area. Pork dumplings and the duck noodles are my go to with a spritz on the patio.“

“Absolutely fantastic experience at Chopsticker! The food was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. We started with the pork belly buns, which were pillowy soft and packed with tender pork and crisp cucumber—the perfect balance of textures. The real star, though, was the Dan Dan noodles. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the savory minced meat, fresh bok choy, and sweet corn came together for a hearty, comforting, and deeply flavorful dish. Easily a 5-star meal. “Small, simple family setup serving authentic Chinese dumplings and bowls of noodles. Tried the dumpling sampler with mixed results. The pork dumplings are for sure good. Also enjoyed the meat in the beef noodle bowl, as well as the wontons in the wonton bowl. Both broths were tasty and nourishing. Egg noodles were just ok though. Worth a try!“

“Very friendly and great food for a very good price. I feel welcome when I enter and have had a great experience each time I’ve gone to Chi’s Express. Chi’s appears very clean and sanitary, a welcome change to some other local spots.

The lo mein noodles are the best I’ve had at a by-the-scoop restaurant by a large margin, while the Wontons and Egg Rolls have good taste but aren’t very crunchy… I still like them better than a nearby scoop restaurant with similar prices.

The front of house is always busy during the day so the food is regularly turned over and stays fresh, yet the service is still very fast, both for the pre-made steam table items and to-order meals.

My favorites so far have been the Lo Mein, Orange Chicken and Double Mongolian Beef and Chicken, but I want to try the Volcano Chicken again because the first time I tried it was early in the morning and I think it may have been reheated because it was very tough and I want to give it another shot… As with most similar restaurants, it is probably best to go near lunch time to get the freshest food, especially since they always move fast if there is a line anyways.

I am a big eater, but a single two-scoop combo is still too much for me to finish, but I still sometimes get a three scoop combo and eat half before school, and finish it with the drink for a late lunch, which keeps me fed and satiated for the whole day and keeps me from spending too much at pricy vending machines or ordering delivery!

Some people complain that they add too much rice/noodles to the box, (imagine complaining that you got TOO MUCH food!) but compared to the scoops you get from Panda Express or other local shops, every food portion at Chi’s is very generous, and the container is almost spilling out every time I order! While most restaurants have a measured cup that barely fills the section of the container, Chi’s Express scoops on a much larger portion than any other restaurant would use to fill the two small sections in the to-go container, and the three-scoop combo comes with a generously filled second container that is larger than the side order containers from Panda etc… They definitely do not skimp, and the big side portions are great anyway because they are very delicious.

I am in no way connected to Chi’s Express… I have simply really enjoyed my new favorite before-school lunch spot that really hits the spot! The economy is tough, and supporting small businesses like Chi’s Express helps keep the community fed for cheap, without putting money into the pockets of the giant corporations that got us into this mess. Buy small, eat big!“

“The flavors were authentic and delicious, but the texture of some of the dishes missed the mark.

Di San Xian (three treasures): Firstly, the standout. We liked this a lot! Flavors were on point and the potatoes and eggplant were cooked perfectly

Char siu (pork shoulder): Tasty, but very tough and dry. It's true that pork shoulder is naturally leaner and tougher than pork belly, but the meat was also cut in a way that made it especially stringy (see last photo where the longest side of the piece follows the grain instead of cutting across it). Would love to have more sauce to offset the dryness, and for the cuts to be made in a way that makes each piece easier to chew!

Laziji (a spicy fried chicken dish): The flavor was perfect, but the chicken was not crispy

I think it's still worth a try. If you aren't familiar with these cuisines, hopefully you'll experience and enjoy these new flavors. They did NOT go easy on seasonings just to make the food more accessible or tame“

“The Braised Brisket noodle combo was absolutely amazing. Its hard to make noodles better but the effort and care to make the best possible dish is evident. The Pan Fried dumplings are delicious. The meat has an amazing flavor and the dumpling dough is perfectly steamed amd flavorful. To top it off its a very nice atmosphere. Will definitely be making my must visits for when I am in Denver CO. Ps sorry I couldn't stop earing the photos are a bit late into the meal.“

“I went to this restaurant for the first time yesterday, and I’m so glad I did! The owner was super nice and welcoming. I told her I was looking for something fried, and she recommended their new Chicken Cutlet with Garlic Sauce.

I was amazed! 🤩 It was exactly what I was looking for—the chicken was perfectly crispy, and the garlic sauce had just the right amount of flavor. Everything was delicious!

“I'm super bummed to write this since wokano has been my comfort spot for 7 years and I order the same thing every time. It's what I get when I'm sad or want a treat to celebrate or a meal that feels like a hug.

Except this order I just got today included a rotten Thai tea which was so beyond unpleasant because I love Thai tea and get it with every order from here. I hope no one has the experience of soiled Thai milk tea. And my sesame tofu only had 2 pieces of broccoli but that's less of an issue than hazardous beverages. I'm just disappointed I guess. Almost everything else from here is great though.“

“My best friend and I stopped by for some PHO and potstickers for dinner. I have to say, this was probably some of the best PHO I’ve had here in the Denver metro area! What a hidden gem. I just kind of wish they had one or two more protein options for the pho, but my gosh, what we had was phenomenal. A must try if you like great pho. Now I can hardly wait to go back and try some of their other menu items!

“My coworkers and I decided to come here on our lunch break. We have one hour. We got the lunch special-Mongolian beef with wonton soup, sesame chicken with egg drop soup, and happy family with hot and sour soup, and a giant combination lomein to share.

They were we all super friendly from the get-go, walking in the door. The place was clean and the environment was vintage and homey, like the old restaurants you'd see in a movie. There were fresh cut roses in vases that looked like they were from a home garden, not store bought. I could be wrong. But I'm pretty sure they were home grown, IDK why.

Now, THE FOOD... DELICIOUS AND FRESH!!! Everything was cooked to perfection and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING was was fine to waste. Although we couldn't finish because we had so little time, we all took it home and enjoyed it. I honestly enjoyed it so much and shared it with my daughter that we are actually ordering more today! Do yourself a favor and go get some. But be prepared to wait because if there's a lot of people... The wait will be long. That was the only downside. But the wait was well worth it!!! “I just moved to the area and was craving Chinese! This place is amazing! The food arrived hot, quickly, and in reusable to-go containers, which we love! We got the hot and sour soup, egg rolls, vegetables with garlic sauce, and sweet and sour chicken dinner combo! The fried rice for the combo was delicious as well as the crab rangoon. Everything, literally everything, was so crunchy and so fresh!! The hot mustard is also INCREDIBLE! Definitely a bang for your buck, I’d highly recommend and I can’t wait to eat here again!“
