“We stopped at El Rey’s on 5•3•2025 The food was absolutely delicious but even better than the food was the family that works hard to run their business. We had one person in our party of 8 that has significant food allergies, they were very empathetic and paid close attention to our needs and made us feel safe that our friend could dine with them with no worries. We truly appreciated that. We wish we lived closer so we could patronize their business more often. We will be stopping in again next year when we are in town. “Excellent restaurant!! The food was so tasty and very quickly served. Our waiter was very friendly and kept calling us Amiga and Amigo. The servings were twice as big as any other restaurant I've been to. My husband's food was served on an oval plate that was the size of a serving platter. His quesedia was probably a good foot across and it was loaded with veggies and cheese. My food was delicious as well. Overall, it was probably one of my best dining experiences in a Mexican restaurant“

“Great taco truck in a shell parking lot. Came for the tacos , filled up while i waited. A couple picnic tables but really a purchase and go situation. Had tacos and gorditos. Food was perfect street taco fair with great meat. They are smallish but flavorful and feeling. Cash only so be prepared.“

“Dropped by while on an incredibly long road trip, place seems to have changed it's name to El J's which I was confused on at first. Got the lengua burrito and The Munchies Burrito. Munchie burrito was a solid 10/10 with a good amount of fillings and absolutely delicious Chile Relleno and Shrimp, green and red sauces complimented the burrito well. lengua burrito was a 9/10 but didn't come with much in terms of fillings, make sure if you are ordering a non specialty burrito you specify if you want beans rice cheese etc as they don't come with them by default.“

“We were visiting during Graduation and we decided to have a take out Mexican and the family who live there recommended this restaurant. Everyone seemed to enjoy their dinners, except me. Honestly I didn't order anything as in the middle of the Vegetarian Menu, (claims to be Vegetarian friendly), but then a big disclaimer saying that all the beans have Pork fat in it and all the rice has chicken stock in it. What part of Vegetarian is this? Pork and chicken are meat, not remotely Vegetarian. Very glad they posted the warning, but It is very misleading to say the least. In the end I didn't order anything and just ate what I had at our airbnb. I really think whoever wrote the menu needs some education on what a Vegetarian means.“

“Stopped in to just get some cheap tacos, because while Taco Party is good they’re hella expensive. Found this place and me and a friend went in and there wasn’t many people , we ordered our food and it was out in less than 3 minutes no joke. Food was amazing, tacos were filling and price was good at about 3.50 per taco I would say. If you haven’t tried it I would definitely check it out!“

“We frequent the three locations of Qdoba here in town often. And we usually get a very decent amount of food. However, we visited the one on 12th and the girl serving us, although courteous and friendly, did not give us nearly enough food for our dollar. The amount we got in our bowls would barely be enough for one of the kid bowls. I did ask if she could give me a little more meat, and she said she could for an extra charge. It gives me pause going back.“

“i had the machaca breakfast burrito Saturday morning while i was getting new tires next door. it was hot, full of beef, eggs, and the tortilla was grilled, crisp and perfectly thin. i went back sunday morning for a second go round. even better the second time. eat here.“
