“Dropped by while on an incredibly long road trip, place seems to have changed it's name to El J's which I was confused on at first. Got the lengua burrito and The Munchies Burrito. Munchie burrito was a solid 10/10 with a good amount of fillings and absolutely delicious Chile Relleno and Shrimp, green and red sauces complimented the burrito well. lengua burrito was a 9/10 but didn't come with much in terms of fillings, make sure if you are ordering a non specialty burrito you specify if you want beans rice cheese etc as they don't come with them by default.“

We had one person in our party of 8 that has significant food allergies, they were very empathetic and paid close attention to our needs and made us feel safe that our friend could dine with them with no worries. “Been a hot minute since I’ve had a breakfast burrito… so I rolled into Loncheria Rubi and realized I don’t even know if I’ve ever gotten their breakfast burrito before (I’m usually a lunch burrito guy). 🌯😅

Well… mistake corrected. Fresh eggs, ham + potatoes, and that green sauce is straight-up FIRE. 🔥🤌 Yum yum. Do I miss green chile a little? Sure. But you can’t have everything… and this burrito still hits. 😎

If you want a fresh-made breakfast burrito from some great folks, stop in. Looks like they’ve got a bunch of other menu items that would be dangerous to my self-control too. 😂

“Stopped in to just get some cheap tacos, because while Taco Party is good they’re hella expensive. Found this place and me and a friend went in and there wasn’t many people , we ordered our food and it was out in less than 3 minutes no joke. Food was amazing, tacos were filling and price was good at about 3.50 per taco I would say. If you haven’t tried it I would definitely check it out!“

“I almost don’t want to review this place because it will get busier, it’s a hidden gem. When I’ve stopped looks like a lot of people stopping that are going to work. They have the best breakfast burritos, I stumbled across them at the palisade farmers market and then found their normal spot later on. The chipotle chicken is a special they have every now and then, delicious, must try. Today’s special is carnitas, my mouth is watering smells so good. The people are always so friendly, prices are fair. Usually don’t have to wait long, but they cook to order. I got behind someone that ordered 30 gorditas today, so a bit of a longer wait but happy to do so.“

“Went in on burrito day 2026, and while the food was still good there were some minor setbacks. Upon arrival storefront glass was dirty and so were tables. When ordering the brown rice was extremely over cooked and came out in clumps and balls, so ordered white rice instead which I normally avoid. Was out of my go to surf and turf protien options and out of ice. While I know that burrito day is a busy day for staff I think there should be an incentive for staff to focus on product quality and store cleanliness still on this busy day. Also the guy cashing me out was somewhat rude. All in all still 5 stars cause every other time has been great but fell short on this busy day. This and the Rimrock location are hands down way better than the Clifton location which is why it is still a 5 star review.“

“Ive been eating here for over 2 decades and they have NEVER messed up an order of mine. EVER. One of the only legit mexican joints in town. All of em are at least a 6/10 but Los Js is always 10/10. I always get the Cabeza Tacos and a side of beans n rice, or the Super Fry burrito and some rolled tacos.“

“This place caught me by surprise!! I was surprised to see a bibimbap bowl on the same menu as a chimichurri burrito but if you see this truck LET IT BE A SIGN! The steak bibimbap bowl is full of farm fresh veg and is so delicious all the way through, so well balanced and amazing flavors with the kimchi sauce and pickled veg. This will be a truck I look for every time I pass through fruita. The owner is also SO nice!!! 10/10 I’ll be back for you Dango Street Food.“

“Best Chipotle I’ve ever been too. Travel a lot for work and have been to lots of other locations (mostly southeast and Ohio). The manager here, she was awesome and attentive. Food was the best I’ve had at any other location across the US. Tasted fresh, especially the pico. Was very surprised because typically just have a mediocre experience at a Chipotle, but this one was great! I saw the bad reviews from a few months, so shoutout to whoever is running this location now! Definitely will be back while I’m in town for work.“

When I spend $ on a chain restaurant I expect them to provide same food. So many Taco Bells I've frequent either give more ingredients but most likely give less and I hate less. This location provides corporate standards that built the brand. Highly recommend this location.“
