“I was visiting Denver on business for the first time in 20 years and got lunch here.
The shop was bustling at 1pm on a weekday, great atmosphere. Very friendly people running the shop, presumably the owners. I got the fried Chicken Bahn mi , and an iced coffee.
The slab of meat in The sandwich was enormous. For me personally, it overpowered the rest of the things in the sandwich, and needed balance. I'd have preferred to get about half that much fried Chicken. But, far better to get too much than too little. The pickled veggies were yummy. The sandwich itself was very filling. The iced coffee, I tried to explain to the man at the register that I did not want sugar in it. He kept asking less sweet? And I said yes. No sweet. Unfortunately he did not understand me and it was still super sweet. But again, excellent flavor and overall I really liked the feeling of the cafe. Definitely would visit again, but would get a different kind of bahn mi next time, and try harder to explain no sugar in the iced coffee.“

“Fabulous Porchetta, though a touch salty. The pastor fries were divine. The original sandwich was good, but could have used a little acid to balance out the fat. It's nice to hang out on Tight End's patio since they kinda sorta share space. Very glad to have finally tired to this place and intend to return to try more!“

“Flew into Denver for vacation on my birthday, decided to walk to this place close to our air bnb. We came in through the front and were immediately greeted with a warm welcome. The gentleman who helped us was friendly and polite. He helped explain the menu since it was our first time. I had the weekly special burger with grilled fresh jalapeños, it was one of the best burgers this burger fan has had. My wife had the chop sandwich, kinda there version of a Philly cheese steak, and not to put down on Philly, but uh this one was better. We tried one of the local craft beers as well as local made chips and were not disappointed. During our meal, the lady that does all the baking brought me a piece of cake with a candle for my birthday. It was delicious, a triple chocolate bundt cake, so moist and decadent. I'm not a fan of chocolate cake, but I would buy this in a heartbeat. We sat outside enjoying the patio and the nice weather for a bit, on our way out I had to go back in and buy some more sweet treats she had made. A peanut butter and jelly cookie sandwich 😍 absolute knock out and a chocolate whoopi pie sandwich worth every penny, she might even put little Debbie out of business.“

Mjority of the sandwiches were missing main ingredients all together or lacking ingredients.
KGB with no horseradish, cheese or dressing.
The Kind cheese on half the sandwich.
Apollo 13 very little olives and feta.
The food was good and the service was good and it's decently priced.
I wouldn't recommend going with a large order.“

“EDIT - I visited for the first time in awhile 9/23 around 7 PM. I was surprised to find a sign signalling it was under new ownership. The service was far better than it had been on previous visits - two employees, the cook made the food excellent, the gal at the register was super pleasant. Thanks much!

I want to love it, but literally every order I get has been incorrect across three visits. Employees do not seem to know the menu, what's supposed to be on the sandwiches, and miss basic instructions. Too bad, this is a cool concept.“

“I ONLY buy my bánh mì from Baker's Palace. As much as my mother tells me to try other places nearby (which I have given chances), I only prefer Baker's Palace and absolutely refuse to go anywhere else. First of all, their bread is freshly made everyday. They also fill the sandwiches full and don't skimp. Once you get used to that standard, other places seem to fall short.

I also love their desserts like Chè Chuối (banana tapioca pudding) and sticky rice with coconut. These are the flavors I grew up on and their quality is amazing!!“

“Wow. What a fabulous experience at Mendocino Farms on Fillmore in Denver. Right from the moment we interned the space, we were greeted by such a positive hostess who gave us guidance on how the ordering works and some of the popular menu items.

The food was extremely fresh. Our bowls were cold...just how we like them. High end and high quality ingredients. So delicious.

And the space is well lit and vibrant.

I swear I barely finished hitting “Place Order” before someone was already knocking on my door like they’d been hiding in the bushes with a sandwich ready. These people must use wormholes or time travel—there’s no other explanation.

The sandwich was so fresh it practically winked at me, the bread was perfect, and the delivery driver looked like they’d just come out of hyperspace. If NASA had Jimmy John’s running mission control, we’d already be living on Mars eating #12 Beach Clubs by now.

Bottom line: delicious, dangerously fast, and possibly violating the laws of physics. 10/10 would risk a sandwich time paradox again.“
