“Talk about filling a void you never knew existed! Holy Moses! We decided to stop in here since it’s so close to the VRBO, and good lord am I glad we did! My wife ordered the original, MIL and I ordered the Al Pastor, and I have never been so happy and sad at the same time! The sandwich was divine! I can’t stand that it’s gone but so happy I had it. Haha the atmosphere in the place is so down to earth and raw with it’s authenticity its a unique feel in todays gentrified aesthetics. AJ the owner (I believe) was super accommodating and extremely approachable and friendly. Good chance that we will try and make a stop before we go home again!

“Banh Mi Station is hands down one of my favorite spots for Vietnamese food! Every time I come here, I’m blown away by how consistently fresh and flavorful everything is.

What makes this place even more special is the staff. They are always so kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful.

I also had a personal experience that really speaks to their character and integrity. I accidentally left my bag at the restaurant, and the team went above and beyond to help me get it back. They were incredibly understanding and made the whole situation stress-free. That level of honesty and care is rare and so appreciated.

Make sure to ask about, That alongside the regular menu. It's a great selection of sandwiches you won't find anywhere else. “I have been here a few times I’m and every times good as it was the last time I went, this location does have a bar . The music is a little loud for me, but you know a lot of people don’t mind it so it’s just a little bit harder to have conversations.It was pretty packed when I went last time. It was about $35 for one foot long and one 6inch. and the only complaint I have is that the restroom I took about 15 minutes for me to get in there and there was a line and because I believe there was two restrooms one stall on each one type thing and so yeah that’s pretty much it. They should put another bathroom in there or multitool restroom in but other than that is your typical Cheba hut.“

“Loved the Chopped Cheese sandwich. Some Chopped Cheese sandwiches around Denver have just chopped meat but here they actually chop up a burger so you get chunks vs a slopy joe type of sandwich. There are much better smashburgers elsewhere though. Very average but go for the Chopped Cheese. Delicious.“

“I wanna be the first person to say that they really upgraded their veggie sub now there’s two options. They have a hot version which was named after me, of course and they’re cold version. It is the most beautiful sandwich and the most delicious sandwich I’ve ever had veggie style you can’t get anywhere else. “We were looking for something a little different and stumbled across Ike’s in downtown Denver—and I’m glad we did.

This is definitely not your ordinary sandwich shop. The menu alone is worth the visit, with a ton of creative (and entertaining) sandwich names that make it hard to choose.

I went with the Paul Reubens, and overall it was pretty spectacular—great flavor, fresh ingredients, and a solid build. My only knock is that it felt a little light on the meat for the price, but the taste still delivered.

The staff really stood out—super friendly, patient, and more than willing to answer questions and offer suggestions, which made the experience even better.

And a fun little touch at the end—they offered us a sucker “just to share the love.” It’s small, but it fits their vibe perfectly.

“As a Vietnamese customer, I really appreciate this little bánh mì shop. The bánh mì here is delicious and very close to the authentic taste in Vietnam — crispy bread, flavorful fillings, and fresh vegetables that make every bite satisfying. Besides bánh mì, they also have other Vietnamese favorites like sticky rice (xôi), steamed buns (bánh bao), and more. Everything I tried was really tasty and comforting, just like the street food I grew up with.

From the outside, the shop may not look very fancy or luxurious, but once you walk in, it feels warm and welcoming. The atmosphere inside reminds me a lot of Vietnam — simple, cozy, and full of that familiar feeling of home.

What makes this place even more special is the owner. They are very kind and friendly, and I heard that they even send money back to Vietnam to help children in difficult areas. That kind of generosity and heart makes me respect this place even more.

We had the BLT and the Thai mango salad. The BLT was way better than I expected (as my daughter chose it). The bacon was well cooked and flavorful. The tomato was fresh and the amount of arugula was perfect.
The Thai mango salad was also delicious. It was filling yet fresh and bursting of flavors with contrasting textures.
All the staff were very polite and exceedingly helpful.

“So I had to write a review because this is consistently the BEST JJ in Colorado. I’ve been to many locations multiple times. None of them compare to this one. They are friendly, have the best and freshest ingredients and make my sandwich perfect every time. I’m vegetarian due to cancer and it seems impossible to get any other location to make me a good veggie sandwich. They make what I ask for including extra lettuce and cucumbers.
