“This place is phenomenal. Had the banh mi grilled pork sandwich and it was perfect! My wife had the shrimp rice noodle plate which was great too. Feels just like the best hole-in-the-wall places I used to have all the time in SoCal growing up. Friendly staff and just a neat lil' food joint in the Glendale area. Parking is decent, but limited with one restroom too. Highly recommend to anyone who loves Vietnamese cuisine.“

“Fabulous Porchetta, though a touch salty. The pastor fries were divine. The original sandwich was good, but could have used a little acid to balance out the fat. It's nice to hang out on Tight End's patio since they kinda sorta share space. Very glad to have finally tired to this place and intend to return to try more!“

“Yesterday, I went here with my husband and a friend and I thought the food was good, but it was very expensive for what you got. I got the cheese sandwich with various different types of cheeses, which I thought was delicious, and I thought adding cream cheese to it was interesting, I’ve never had a sub with cream cheese on it, but I liked it. I also got the mini pretzels, which were pretty good, but also very salty, but I like salt.
My husband got the meatball sandwich which he said was pretty good, but not worth the price, and my friend got the French onion soup and a different sandwich (I don’t remember what it was called). She said that the soup was too salty and the sandwich she had was good, but it was also not worth the price.
When we went, the restaurant was mostly empty, and for a while, it was only us and the employees. They were very friendly and attentive towards us. I would recommend this place, but it is very expensive.“

“Reviewing a simple sandwich shop today and was pleasantly surprised. They serve some great banh-mi options and other Vietnamese inspired grab-and-go fare. They offer up some great meal deals as well - this sandwich and egg roll were had for $16 which isn’t bad at all!

The sticky pork that I had was great and the portion size was fair. I’m not the biggest fan of egg rolls, but it was solid and seemed fresh.

Coffee was decent and good in a pinch, but there is a coffee shop next door that the service folks actually recommend you to visit.

Overall will be coming back! This is a super nice lunch option for the neighborhood!“

“So good. Place is definitely newer! Packed on a Monday at 12 noon. Had the double chicken salad with 2 sides! So good! Friend had never heard of it and we have like 5 by us in Tampa metro area. “Cheba Hut subs are hard to beat, that's not new information, but what I can say about this location is that it is POLISHED. The staff is not only friendly, but obviously working very hard due to the popularity of this particular location. They take TONS of order from start to close, whether it be online or in-person orders. I've been to this location, at this point, probably over 20 times (it's right by my work). I have NEVER and I mean NEVER had them get my order wrong and most importantly, I have NEVER had a sub that wasn't absolutely delicious. EVERY sub has been absolutely delicious. The vibe is hard to beat for a sub place and the place is always clean. Cheba sandwiches shouldn't even be compared to Subway, its almost disrespectful to do so, except for price: You get the same amount of food, for less $, and at an exponentially better quality point.“

“As a Vietnamese customer, I really appreciate this little bánh mì shop. The bánh mì here is delicious and very close to the authentic taste in Vietnam — crispy bread, flavorful fillings, and fresh vegetables that make every bite satisfying. Besides bánh mì, they also have other Vietnamese favorites like sticky rice (xôi), steamed buns (bánh bao), and more. Everything I tried was really tasty and comforting, just like the street food I grew up with.

From the outside, the shop may not look very fancy or luxurious, but once you walk in, it feels warm and welcoming. The atmosphere inside reminds me a lot of Vietnam — simple, cozy, and full of that familiar feeling of home.

What makes this place even more special is the owner. They are very kind and friendly, and I heard that they even send money back to Vietnam to help children in difficult areas. That kind of generosity and heart makes me respect this place even more.

“Wow. What a fabulous experience at Mendocino Farms on Fillmore in Denver. Right from the moment we interned the space, we were greeted by such a positive hostess who gave us guidance on how the ordering works and some of the popular menu items.

The food was extremely fresh. Our bowls were cold...just how we like them. High end and high quality ingredients. So delicious.

And the space is well lit and vibrant.

I swear I barely finished hitting “Place Order” before someone was already knocking on my door like they’d been hiding in the bushes with a sandwich ready. These people must use wormholes or time travel—there’s no other explanation.

The sandwich was so fresh it practically winked at me, the bread was perfect, and the delivery driver looked like they’d just come out of hyperspace. If NASA had Jimmy John’s running mission control, we’d already be living on Mars eating #12 Beach Clubs by now.

Bottom line: delicious, dangerously fast, and possibly violating the laws of physics. 10/10 would risk a sandwich time paradox again.“

“I’ve always loved Firehouse for their quality and consistency, but this new French Dip takes things to another level. The roast beef is tender, juicy, and piled high on a perfectly toasted roll that has just the right amount of crunch on the outside while staying soft inside. The melted provolone ties everything together with that rich, creamy flavor that makes every bite better than the last.

And let’s talk about the au jus — it’s savory, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Not too salty, not watered down — just bold, comforting goodness that makes dipping the sandwich an experience instead of just a meal.

You can tell they didn’t cut corners on ingredients. Everything tasted fresh, hot, and made with care. The portion size is generous, and the balance of meat, cheese, and bread is spot on. It’s hearty without being overwhelming.

“Super friendly staff and delicious, fresh tasting sandwiches - we assumed it was a pay and pick up at the counter style, but one of the staff was kind enough to bring the sandwiches to our table. The Ridgeline was amazing with the perfect amount of sauce complimenting the juicy cold cuts and crisp veggies. The portions were large for a good price (in this economy?!) and shareable (unless you're a shameless foodie like me). Hope to come back soon and try their other specialties!“
