Great food, great service. We were coming through town and stopped in to eat. We highly recommend this restaurant for quality Mexican food!!
Very good food but the prices are really high. Dishes for 2 from 49.99 and 59.99 and up. Single carne asada was 24.99. Also it was boiling hot in there. Definitely above 80 degrees. Service was very friendly and prompt and I would definitely want to come back but the high prices and super uncomfortable temperature inside are both deterrent factors. Lower the prices and we might put up with the heat but at the very top end of mexican restaurant pricing I would expect...read full review

El Mescal Family Mexican Restaurant Bar is a comfortable spot, especially the outdoor seating for a relaxed vibe. The food is delicious and excellent; the Carne Asada is moist, tender, and grilled to perfection. Guacamole, Pico de Gallo, rice, and beans are fantastic and flavorful, with nice presentation. The bacon wrapped shrimp and ground beef enchiladas are also very good. Service is quick, friendly, and amazing, with staff making guests feel right at home. Prices feel fair, and the happy hour offers a $10 Marg. Everything served has great flavor, and consistency is key to retaining top quality food and service. Highly recommended.
