My husband and I decided to check out Koi Ramen & Sushi for our anniversary. It was recommended by a colleague. We were absolutely surprised and delighted by the bright and appealing space and decor. The customer service was great and our food - beef-kimchi ramen and sushi, was excellent. Our waiter explained our food choices and introduced them as they were served. The food was great! We shared a tempura appetizer and three sushi rolls. The tempura was a little greasy from the oil not quite being hot enough, but everything was still cooked well and golden brown. We got a sexy roll, crab roll and caterpillar. Those were all excellent. We weren’t given any pickled ginger or wasabi, but the sexy roll was hot enough I didn’t miss it and I don’t care for pickled ginger. Sushi was excellent!! Some of the best I’ve had in the Valley so far- Wish most of their rolls didn’t come with the spicy mayo….Ive noticed most places around here smother that on their rolls- it Ruins it .
