“As a serious coffee aficionado, I was so fortunate to be staying in Lakewood such that the Corvus location showed up when I did my morning search for specialty coffee. It turned out to be absolutely remarkable. One of the better coffee venues that I have been to. And as you all know, I come from a coffee town, Houston, with some amazing specialty roasters. I opted for a flight of 3 Panama Gesha coffees.
Excellent. And the quality and selection of pastries was absolutely remarkable.

“Great Place To Host a Meeting; Peaceful Environment, Staff So Very Friendly and the menu is outstanding… If you’re runner you can also join multiple run events on various occasions they’ll host a show demo from various vendors tents with the Glissade Running Club… Everyone in the group is amazing… Their multiple members and runners of all ages. “Great spot for a coffee and a chat. I met up with a buddy and we were able to sit and talk for a while no problem.
4 stars only because I was disappointed in the coffee itself. No latte art (not a necessity, but it shows a lack of skill on the steaming of the milk), and the flat white was just a little…flat…and not in the good way. To each their own though.“

“Drove from Longmont to their Evan’s location. Nice comfortable physical space, friendly and helpful staff and the most delicious espresso (both regular and decaf) I’ve had in years. They also have a broad selection of coffees from around the world that they roast at their other location. If you’re not local they will ship to your location. Excellent coffee, buy it, drink it and be happy.“

“I have never visited their cafe as I live out of state, but I was sent a bag of the Civitas roast as a gift. This was right up my alley. I love a strong black coffee and this was very smooth, no bitterness as some coffees tend to be.“

“I have visited this shop many times. The coffee is weak and lacks flavor. The staff is friendly and the service is good. However, they need to do something about all the flies. Its very annoying when you're trying to sit and enjoy your food and beverage. One time I went during lunch and there was a large bee in the window.“

“My wife and I are staying in the neighborhood for a month and have made visiting Novo the first thing we do every morning. Jules and the whole team at Novo always provide a great start to the day with kind and welcoming service, excellent coffee, and very tasty pastries. The strawberry snickerdoodle and cinnamon roll are our favorites. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating is nice too. Be sure to stop by if you're in Congress Park!“

“As a daily Nespresso drinkers for over 7yrs now, we always pop in when necessary to replenish stock and try new products. However, thanks to Ava, our experience turned from a difficult situation with a machine fault into one so positive we were left reminiscing about the days when customer service meant something to other companies. Our sincere gratitude to Ava and crew for their exemplary service and willingness to go the extra mile to make us proud to support their products. We continue to be grateful and thankful we live so close to this store.“

“I stopped in to try this place after a rheumatologist appointment next-door, and it was the perfect pick me up before a long drive home. While my sugar-free breve was refreshing, the coffee flavor and syrup strength when paired together seemed less than impressive to me and was, on the whole, a forgettable experience for this particular palate. If you’re in the area, I’d recommend giving it a try—but I wouldn’t drive out of my way to visit this business again. The server wasn’t as warm and friendly as my husband’s Americano but instead gave off a cool, aloof manner to match the ice cubes floating in my own cup. The space itself is stunning and full of natural light—it would be a nice retreat for reading a good book. Just know you’ll find the characters on page are more congenial than the man serving you behind the counter.“
