“Wow! I eat GF due to an allergy, and Zell’s has just expanded my horizons! Their delicious crepes can be made completely GF! I had the Turkey, Brie and Raspberry Crepe, and it was amazing! The dessert crepes are yummy as well! I had no problems with my allergy from this food. I’m so excited to have found something new! The service was speedy yet very mindful of my allergy. The staff are well-informed about GF options. The dining area was clean and well cared for. I am visiting Denver from KCMO, and I will definitely be back!!“

“So I’m from Texas so finding this place made me very happy. Love burritos but wanted a good old breakfast taco. These are really good. Since your paying a bit more then you would a regular taco I’d opt for ordering one of the more loaded ones like the maple sausage or go for the carne guisada. So delicious and the guys who run it are awesome! We bought a fat of the jalepeno sausage and it was 🔥. Couldn’t recommend this place more!“

“This is my favorite new restaurant. 5 star in everything! Ordered the double crunchy tacos and it was flavors with the first bite😋, meat egg and all the sides filled in these crunchy tacos, with a fruit cup bursting with flavor, you have to try it for the taste surprise. After this wonderful breakfast, I was full, but had to try the cinnamon roll. The zesty flavor is still smacking my lips❤️. And Melissa was a perfect server for a first time visitor of this restaurant! I wanted to try more than I did. This restaurant has an active manager, and it showed in how the people told me how they love this place. Try it for breakfast or lunch.

“Coming from the New York Metro, I grew up with diners. Having lived elsewhere in the country, I discovered that they are rare when you leave that area.

I moved to Denver, assuming that real diners were behind me. Then we discovered Gunther Toody's. Oh joy! Bliss!

The rules of a true diner include 1. Breakfast all day.
2. Comfort foods, like burgers and meatloaf. This isn't a place that offers kale. And that is a good thing.

We decided to take advantage of the diner rules. My daughter ordered a half order of biscuits with sausage gravy. And Beignets. The raspberry, which came with a side of chocolate dipping sauce.

We took a booth by the Harley, and our waitress was wonderful. I ordered a burger with Swiss and mushrooms, and asked for mashed instead of fries.

And coffee.
I am a fussy about my coffee. No Starbucks for me. I brew my own at home with a coffee press, thanks. And I don't expect much when I eat out. But my java addiction is strong, so I asked for coffee.

First test...5 stars.
Fresh, just strong enough and no burnt overtones. I believe I downed three cups of their perfect brew.

The biscuits and gravy were fantastic. My daughter made happy sounds.

The Beignets were perfect. Fresh, light and the best compliment to the dipping chocolate. (I had one myself. The angels sang!)

Now let's talk about the burger. My inner carnivore was primed for beef. I should explain that all burgers are NOT created equal. I am a fan of In and Out, but fast food Burgers have truly dulled our senses to what a truly fine burger can be.

I took a cautious bite.

Omg.
I am not sure what they do. But it was delicious, and fresh and a perfect combo.
A truly fine burger needs no condiments. I ate this one just as it came. The mashed were wonderful to, with brown gravy on the side.

So good!

The prices were reasonable.
The service was lovely.
Absolutely worth a visit.
My thanks for bringing a diner back to our options!

But you would be surprised at how many breakfast restaurants can't cook eggs correctly. My eggs & bacon were perfect, as was my thick slice of whole wheat toast. “This is a 5 star iHop. Came on Christmas Day because we hadn't expected to be in town. Place was busy. Staff was working hard, professional, and very pleasant. Our food was great too! I hadn't eaten at an iHop in over 5 years and I was surprised how fresh everything was. Eggs fluffy, bacon and sausage really good. Pancakes as good as expected. I remembered to ask for the Pecan syrup. My fav.
