“My company offers to order lunch and this is one of the places on the list for the day so I can’t speak to the location itself, only the food. I got 3 empanadas; spicy chicken, spicy ground beef and spicy steak. As well as the red sauce and green avocado half spicy sauce. The steak and chicken were delish mostly the chicken. The ground beef was sweet and threw me off but still yummy. The red sauce was spicy and delicious. The green had good flavor but kind of a downer compared to the red. Would def indulge again. Would like to check out their location. I’d add a photo but I already ate it.“

“Found myself here by complete accident as my kid was getting a haircut next door and I was hungry. Wow, this was an excellent find. Incredible flavor, light crispy crust, and the chimichurri sauce was fantastic. Will need to find an excuse to come back.“

“Lazo Empanadas is on a whole different level! The flavors are incredible you can taste the freshness and quality in every bite. The dough is perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, and the fillings are packed with real, authentic Latino sabor. You can tell they put love and pride into their food. The staff is friendly, the service is fast, and the place has a great vibe. If you haven’t tried Lazo Empanadas yet, you’re missing out this is a must-try spot! Highly recommended 👏🔥“

“Absolutely amazing! The prices were reasonable, and the burger and empanada were EXACTLY what I had been looking for. The empanada could have been slightly better, as it was clear from the sogginess on the bottom it had been sitting in the display for a while, but the flavores completely made up for it. The burger was extremely well spiced, super salty and delicious! Would highly recommend!“

“Each empanada is a flavor explosion! On the area for a kid sports event and needed something for the family. They had something for every palette! Looking forward to returning for the gluten free empanadas as well. 2-3 for adult is plenty. 1-2 for kiddos. The desert ones were fantastic. Don’t waste another minute reading reviews, get down and pick up some of the best empanadas I’ve ever had!“

“Found this place because it’s close to my boyfriend’s new job, and I am so glad to have discovered it! The dirty chai is one of the best I’ve found, and it’s clean and seems to be relatively quiet during the week. Free WiFi and lots of outlets to charge a phone or laptop, and outdoor seating is delightful.“

“This is a sweet little spot just off of Tennyson with amazing Venezuelan arepas and empanadas!! Please support this local biz, with an incredibly friendly staff, quick service, and delicious menu full of special eats. It’s been a long time since I had tequeños and I could not be more pleased they are back in my rotation!“
