I think the design elements here are on an emotional level. As you step down the speak easy steps you’ll find a beautiful green escape. They even have an event room for larger parties and events. The service is consistently excellent, the atmosphere is welcoming, and there’s always great energy with live music, quality drinks, and a laid-back vibe. Mike, the owner, sets the tone. On one occasion, I dropped a $100 bill and he returned it without hesitation, which speaks volumes about the integrity and hospitality here. The staff as a whole are just as genuine and attentive. “Out of state visitor. Was in the area and ended up here to unwind and play pool. Very laidback dive, just what I love in a bar. Elsie took great care of us. Friends and I played several rounds of pool unbothered and had great cheap drinks in the meantime. Would recommend to anyone looking for a chill, old school pool hall.“

We've enjoyed the Brussels sprouts in the past, but this time, it seemed laden with too much sauce and cheese, so the sauce really overpowered the taste of the sprouts. Service was painfully slow and it took forever to get our drinks (no mixology needed, we just got tequila), and it was close to 30 minutes. Server was very nice, but the place could be understaffed. Fun vibe, but it gets loud if you sit in the middle part of the room, which was where we were.“
