“We finally had the pleasure of getting over to Happy Eats for lunch today! We ordered the Italian Sausage Sandwich & Fries, for the kids - the half portion of Mac n Cheese and half portion of Spaghetti - I had a House Salad and added Breaded Chicken, and the Calamari (some items were dug into before I had the chance to snap a photo 😌). Everything was absolutely delicious! Even my picky eaters enjoyed their meals! The restaurant is beautifully decorated, bright, welcoming, and clean! The owners are also wonderful - 10/10 recommend. 👌“

“The service from Aiden was superb. He knew his menu and answered any questions we had. He was attentive to all of his tables, keeping drinks filled and inquiring if we needed refills on soup/salad and breadsticks. The food was very good. The pasta could use more sauce as it was a little dry, until Aiden brought out extra sauce to all of us. We truly appreciate his first rate service and representing the business well.“

“We ate here last night and drove an hour to try it on the advise of friends who used to live in St. Louis. Our server Lilly was a complete joy. Our food was spectacular and we loved everything we ordered including the dessert, a pumpkin bread pudding with brioche bread and toffee syrup that was to die for. We are already planning our return and driving an hour for a dinner so amazing is nothing and you owe it to yourself to try it, you will find yourself also planning when you will return, it's that good!! It was also a pleasure to meet the Owner/Chef Eric. It was awesome to hear his story about how he got here.“

“The olive oil is so fresh and so tasty that I could’ve drank it. The bread is not to be missed once you sit down. It is absolutely fantastic.

In the past, I have not been to excited about vegetables that have been fermented. I was able to dine on two separate dishes that had fermented vegetables in them. One was with my bread the other was with my charcuterie board. I would really recommend that you give these a chance. The fermentation on both of these items were spectacular and really did open my eyes to how good fermented vegetables can be. They’re not what I expected.

I got the charcuterie board, the Bolognese, and an Italian cake with pistachio filling for dessert. The drinks were recommended by Sophia, she was awesome the entire night! Three cheers for her recommendations, but of all the dishes and drinks that I had the Bolognese was the weakest one. It was still fantastic, but the others in that meal really stood out and the Bolognese did not.

I am thinking about coming back and getting the swordfish or perhaps another plate of something interesting, but I’m definitely going to get the olive oil by the gallon. The dessert was recommended again by Sophia and when I took the first bite, I liked it the second bite I really liked it. The third bite. I was in love. It really grew on me and the fresh whipped cream is a really nice touch to the quality and time the chefs take to make this food excellent.

It was very busy, but it was a Saturday night at the hotel. I had to made reservations about six hours ahead of time. Moderate noise level and everyone was having a good time. Excellent wine list as well as drink menu. Highly recommend on all counts Truly deserves five stars.“

Cansano is a great place for a holiday dinner party or a perfect date night.“

“My wife and I, from central Texas, enjoy Chicago style deep dish pizza. However it's very hard to find it as authentic as you can get it in the Chicago area. Billy's pizza is the real deal. The atmosphere is that of a small pizza shop nestled on quite street that only locals know about. The smells of the pizza and sauces are amazing. The deep dish meat lovers was a treat. We can't wait to try some other menu items. If you get a chance While you are in Colorado Springs, I recommend stopping by and trying it out.“

“We went for happy hour and it was a great deal! The strawberry margarita was good- not too sweet. I got a calzone that was amazing! I could only eat half. My partner got the Nashville Hot and said it was actually really spicy and delicious!
