Great food, great view. I can’t remember the exact name, maybe Mesa Verde Taco or something like that. It’s their version of an Indian Taco with fry bread. Very good! Lots of tables and wide open space between the cafe and gift shop.
The Mesa Verde Fry Bread was GREAT! That’s why I have the food 4 stars. You can definitely split it with someone.
The rest of the food is just generic cafe food, but they have a lot of options. It’s pricy, but the only food around.
It’s cafeteria food so it’s not great but not bad. Except the coffee. Fortunately, there is a coffee bar there as well.

Far View Terrace Café / Gift Shop / Mesa Mocha is a surprising gem with outstanding quality meals. The chicken mole and beef ribs were beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. Reasonable prices make this a great choice after a day at Mesa Verde trails. Breakfast is cafeteria style, with a nice variety including an omelette station, waffle maker, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, and fresh fruit. However, some reviews mention that the breakfast offerings are basic, with limited options and mixed reviews on service. While the awesome view adds to the dining experience, it seems that the service can be lacking at times. Guests can also find plenty of meal or snack options, specialty coffees, souvenirs, a restroom, air-conditioning, and desserts, with the 2 scoop ice cream cones being recommended for their delicious taste at a reasonable price.
