“Staff was super nice. They had five people kolln sick so they were very few waiters. Trying to serve the entire fully booked restaurant. Food came a little slow, but that’s to be expected with the massive understaffing. Our waiter was very polite. Food was OK a little bit dry but kind of what we were expecting. The short rib quesadilla was delicious. The cauliflower was OK. Wish it had more cheese. They were out of the beef short ribs, but were substituting pork spareribs, which were decent but a little dry and really hard to eat because they weren’t separated so you basically had to try to cut them yourself or just eat off of the whole rib, which was really messy chicken was a little dry, kids burger was a little dry as well.“

“The folks working in this cafe were super friendly! We ate outside on the patio. The food is made to order, so it’s hot and delicious when you get it. We had the grilled cheese sandwich with fries which were delicious to eat without ketchup.“

“We stopped for lunch after visiting the famous Pueblo cliff dwellings 8/18/25. Note: we stopped in here on our way in to get a map of Mesa Verde. The woman at the gift shop was extremely helpful and showed us exactly what must see stops to make the most of our one day visit. Wish we had written down her name because she was gracious & helpful to first time visitors.
The view from the terrace is stunning.
Cafeteria style lunch was pretty good. Breakfast is April 19-Oct 20 7-10am. Lunch is Apr 18-Oct 20 11am-3/4pm. Lunch was a pre-made turkey sandwich (10) and just a bowl of chili (b/c they were out of taco shells) ($6.50).
There are two real restaurants also in this complex.
Restrooms were immaculate despite the crowd of visitors. Ample parking, many busses today.
Glad we stopped here. Thanks again to the gift shop lady.

“Not your average diner. The full menu even includes Eggs Benedict. The Chorizo Benedict is a refreshing take on the traditional theme. Service is excellent. Nice to see happy people these days. Of the four days we were in Cortez, Beny's had the best food.“
