“I don't want to give a bad review because I love this black-eyed pea and have only had good experiences until tonight, but tonight was not good my order got messed up with mushrooms when I asked for none and no rice even though I specifically asked for rice but none of that was the problem I mean orders get messed up sometimes the problem was the manager that's on, he was not helpful and was arguing with me and had no solutions in fact he kept saying it's what I ordered when I told him it was not, then he offered no solutions besides drive back there in a snowstorm to get my rice he in fact said what do you want me to do about it which is kind of unbelievable. I'm a very loyal customer who usually orders out from there at least 2 times per week but I'm pretty mad right now I placed my order in person the only thing I wanted custom was the no mushrooms but beyond that not to be hung up on the 1st time I called and not to be argued with on the 2nd call.“

“I was highly disappointed that every option came with some form of meat. Even the salads came with chicken. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff, but the lack of vegetarian options cuts out a significant portion of the population. Simply offering a couple of salads without meat would be extremely helpful.“

“I got the sirloin here and it was pretty juicy and delicious. My only reason for this place being 4 stars is that the server took a while to tend to us and the bread was a bit over baked and dry. Other than that the steak is very good here!“

Food was decent and exactly what we expected at midnight on a Thursday.
But our service was IMMACULATE. Carlos was absolutely splendid! If you end up here, request Carlos and you will not be disappointed. Thank you again Carlos, you are the epitome of wonderful service!
