“The pizza is really solid here. I always get a build your own with bacon and red onions, but my sons like The Big Cheese and my husband likes Tommy Want Chicken Wingy. It also has a really fun, laid back vibe. One of my favorite restaurants in Erie. We eat here probably once every two weeks, and it’s really easy to get dessert after because it’s connected to the ice cream parlor next door. Highly recommend it!“

“I wanted to take a moment to share my experience at Morning Glory Cafe. A week ago, I made a reservation for a group of 11 people, and when we arrived, the table was perfectly set and ready for us. However, after we placed our orders, we waited over an hour and a half without receiving any food. This was brought to the attention of the staff, and understandably, frustration began to build on our end. Fortunately, the manager, Adolfo, addressed the situation beautifully. He sincerely apologized for the delay and explained that there had been a miscommunication regarding our order, which led to a significant mistake. To make amends, they comped our meals, which was greatly appreciated. Our waitress, Helen, was also very sincere in her apology. In a time when many establishments struggle to admit their errors, Morning Glory Cafe stood out by acknowledging their mistake and taking responsibility. She checked on us kept our drinks filled and served with a smile. I wish more waitress would be like this. I will be requesting this waitress next time I come in.“

“5 stars is not enough for The Post. We came for the Thursday special of pot pie with three people who LOVE chicken pot pie. Our waiter Dominic was so helpful and friendly. He checked to make sure they still had pot pie and had them open every warmer to find us the last three in the building. It was worth the trouble. These pot pies were extraordinary. The crust is flaky and the middle just felt like comfort. The chicken has fantastic flavor.
We also enjoyed the chicken thighs as well as our 4th friend had a chicken sandwich. Everything was prepared hot and fresh. Do yourself a huge favor and go on a Thursday for this pot pie!!“

“I went to check this place out and got their Fire-starter Burger with Sweet Potato Fries. The burger was cooked perfectly! Just the small amount of pink I was looking for. 😋 It had just the right amount of jalapeños and guacamole. Did I mention the burger is fairly decent sized for the price?!?! I have never had Sweet Potato fries this good either, most of the places I have gotten them from they are burnt and hard. The restaurant is casual dining and VERY CLEAN! The staff are friendly and amazing as well as VERY VERSED in Service Dog laws. I felt very safe and welcomed here with the calm atmosphere. I would DEFINITELY go back!!!“

“I had heard a lot about this place and was excited to try it. I was a little disappointed, but it could have just been the food that I chose. The wings were very good but only the flats - the drums were tough, overcooked. Carrots with that dish were some thick, some thin. French fries were mid, not crispy at all. I loved the red pepper spicy relish on the sandwiches. Food came out pretty quickly but the service was otherwise slow and sort of felt not friendly and professional. Flavors were pretty good but otherwise I think I would try other places. Prices seem about average for this kind of place.“

You won't find much ambience or atmosphere, as it's a tiny place, but the service is great, and the food is delicious.

I always order my bun on the side, but I didn’t even have to because they have an amazing burger bowl option for any of their burgers. Another thing I loved: when you order fries, you can choose a single or double portion instead of being forced into getting two sides. “The hotel is clean, has great amenities, great breakfast, an outstanding pool, beautiful outdoor courtyard, and is conveniently located and surrounded by great restaurants, and the staff were all exceptional! Tammie at the front desk was always so helpful and nice and the gentleman, who had actually just started working at the café, was so nice and had outstanding customer service. Food was pretty good, nothing to write home about: My medium well burger was more like medium and the only seasoning came from the grilled onions (listed on the menu as onion jam). The NY strip looked more like a flank steak, but he said it tasted fine. Bbq flatbread was extra cheesy and devoured. Chicken sandwich was dry, but tasted fine. Fries were probably the best thing on the plate.“

“Just had the Valentine’s Day Dinner with my husband here! It’s our first V-Day as a married couple and there was no way I would have rather spent it! For this dinner they not only had great food, but there was a poet at the front writing poems for the couples. Our poem brought a tear to my eye! Some things I have to say about the restaurant.. First of all, the owners put so much thought and care into the food. It’s very apparent that they care about what they put in front of you, and they are able to cater to dietary restrictions even with the pre-fixed meals which is sooo impressive. I’ve been vegetarian and gluten free in the past and I can attest to how daunting going out to eat can be if you have restrictions. This place will take care of you!!! Secondly, the staff is super nice and the cocktails are so delicious. I could go on and on about how awesome this place is but the last thing I’ll mention is the ambience, architecture, and furniture are so unique. This place is great if you want to just grab a couple drinks at the bar but is also great for special occasions with multiple courses. So glad to have a place like this only a couple blocks from my home!!“

The owner of the restaurant himself, took the time to make sure we were comfortable while we were waiting for our table.. He even took us there when it was ready.!He suggested the tiki seating area in the outdoor patio. It seats six, so we were joined by two other couples. The conversation was lively and interesting. My fiancée ordered the tuna fish sandwich and I had the beet salad, both were tasty! The sun had gone down by now and the subdued lighting added a new level of ambience.. We capped off the night with the citrus cake and coffee. The service was friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be going back there again!“
