Restaurantji presents Pagosa Springs' standout Mexican dining destinations.
“Good food, Dr pepper a little flat.. especially for $3.25, ate with my wife and kids, we have a 7,5,3, and 1 yr old, got the bill and had a 20 percent $12 gratuity already added, asked the lady at the front why and she said it's for all big parties of 6 ppl or more, I said my 1 year old didn't even eat anything and they still consider us a party of 6 adults... she just stared at me like she didn't understand, I asked her if she understands what I'm saying and she literally just stared at me, I didn't know if it was a language barrier or she just didn't know what to say or what but after long awkward silence she says it's in the computer and she can't change it, im like how did the computer come up with 6 ppl when we only ordered 5 things cause the baby didn't order anything and once again just blank stare... finally an older lady comes up and sees what I'm saying and instantly understood and re printed the ticket and said it was good to go. Other than that, not bad. The big fried tilapia tasted ok.“
“This is the one place that is real . Down home atmosphere. Food was good the plates were full no cheaping out here Cindy is the best waitress was on top of all our needs . We go to Pagosa springs all the time can't believe we have not found this place sooner . Must tryParking: Big dirt lot . Lots of parking no worries.“
“The name on the trailer says La Princesa Taqueria. The food was ? delicious. I ordered an asada burrito and a barbacoa torta with fries. I especially loved the torta, it was so yummy. I also had a Mexican coke. The lady and her daughter were so nice. Great customer service and authentic Mexican food. The food was made fresh to order and it didn't make me sick. My tummy is weak so that is very important for me. The restaurant I originally was going to was almost next door but it was closed. I'm so glad it was because this food was wonderful.“
“Beny’s is one of our favorite places to eat while we visit our second home. Besides how can you not like a restaurant that names A platter after you! That’s right get your Bobby special (rice + fajita chicken and white queso) boom you’re welcome buddy!! See you in a couple weeks! The Bittle’s #foodporn“
“We enjoyed the food and service alot! The rice was okay but had a lot of oregano. I liked the camarones a la Diabla and the quesadillas were delicious! The service was good and the waitors were very nice. The place does smell kinda bad which is why I give 4 stars, but our hotel also smelled the same so I assumed it is because of the towns sewage. It smells like urine.“
“Reading the low star reviews I realized the reasons people gave them was for ridiculous reasons. I went here with the girls during our girls weekend the first night we got to Pagosa and we loved it! The drinks are fantastic, I recommend the strawberry daquiri and flavored margarita (any flavor). Food was good, very large portions! You won't leave this place thirsty or hungry that's for sure! Note: they only have bottled water for 1$.“
“We got takeout from here and man was it delicious! Showed up the restaurant and ordered up front. We helped ourselves to the salsa bar while we waited, and there wasn't much of a wait! As you can see, the portions are generous, and the food is delicious! Would definitely recommend.“
