Canyon Motel 221 Byers Ave, Hot Sulphur Springs Seafood
221 Byers Ave, Hot Sulphur Springs - 4.17 miles

“We detoured northwest off US-40 into Hot Sulphur Springs instead of staying along the main I-70 corridor. It’s a classic, no-frills mountain motel that works as a basic pitstop when exploring further up into Grand County.
Check-in was quick, and having parking right outside the room door made loading in our gear very easy after hours of driving. The room was simple and definitely had an older, rustic feel, but it was clean and quiet overnight. The Wi-Fi was strong enough for us to log our work notes before turning in. On the downside, the heater was fairly noisy when it kicked on, and the bath towels were pretty thin.
Not a place for a luxury getaway, but for an affordable overnight spot while traveling through the northwest side of the range, it served its purpose for us with a nice charm..”
