“My wife and I ate there for the first time tonight. It almost didn't happen though, because we made assumptions on where it is located based on the address. Don't do that or you'll never find it. More on that in a minute. First, the food was incredible! We had a Carnivore Calzone and it was stuffed chuck full of meat that was fresh and delicious. In fact everything was as fresh as it could be. I watched him flip the dough for everything we ate. The portions were gigantic, and unless you're a big eater, two can easily split a Calzone. We also ordered the garlic knots, and same story, they were freshly made right in front of us. A lot of garlic knots are just brushed with garlic flavored butter, but not these, they were stuffed with diced garlic and were perfectly made, with a crispy outside and a soft and delicious inside. We dipped them in an excellent marinara, but they would be great on their own as well. My wife brought home some cannolis and they were also stuffed right in front of us to ensure they were crisp and delicious. Everything we ate was perfectly prepared and scrumptious. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. It is important to know that the location we visited, on Austin Bluffs, is not really a standalone Papa's. It's in a building called Food Stop Local 719 Eatery, which threw us off when trying to find it. It is behind the strip mall that faces Doherty High School, and we were looking for a place right on Barnes, if you do that, you'll never find it. Just look for the red and blue Food Stop sign, which again is located behind the strip mall. I will say that if you're looking for ambience, this is not your place. Plastic silverware and plastic plates are what the food is served on. But if you're looking for amazing fresh food with large portions for a great price, you can't do much better than this. We plan to eat there frequently. A+“

“Greatest (lonely) staff on the 4th of July. I took my grands out for a late lunch. Not only did they get to choose what they wanted, the pizzas were expertly prepared and consumed! The employees were so friendly and helpful, and even delivered our pizzas to our table . Major kudos!!“

The owner donated pizza, wings and bread bites to this event and made this first time event cost effective and manageable for a new to the area nonprofit. “My wife and I enjoy mod pizza. Quick, easy and tastes pretty good. What I don’t care for is how noisy the atmosphere can be. The feet on the chairs need to have pads or get different chairs. Every time someone moves a chair it makes a god awful noise that can be heard throughout the restaurant, which is annoying and takes away from the overall dining experience. Recommend getting different chairs and tables to improve the atmosphere and noise situation.“

“I'm so in love with Jet's that it has quickly become my go-to pizza spot.

Several weekends ago, I tried the 4 corner pizza which was probably THE best introduction to this pizza spot. I've always loved square pizzas so I was very excited to try their Hawaiian version of it with their tasty turbo crust (garlic+butter+romano). It did NOT disappoint. It has now become my preferred order.

One random weekend, I wanted less crust so I decided to try their thin crust (sadly, not square) but extremely tasty nonetheless.

My dinner tonight, 4 corner Hawaiian, is the reason why I'm writing this review because their food has just always been consistently fantastic. I noticed that they have cinnamon and cheesy bread sticks which I'll probably try out during my set of orders.

“I always have a great experience at this place. The staff is wonderful, and the food is phenomenal, especially the pizza crust, which is absolutely perfect. Just a couple of nights ago, we ordered a margarita pizza, and it was outstanding—definitely one of the best pizzas offered by a chain. You can tell that it's freshly made because the mixer is right in front, so you know they make the dough on-site. Unlike those par-baked options from grocery stores, which are frozen and simply thawed before baking, this pizza has a freshness that makes a real difference.

I've heard there are some non-chain pizza places, or "mom-and-pop" shops, that are just as good, but for a larger chain, this place does an exceptional job—something that’s quite rare for chain restaurants. I usually prefer to avoid chains because the food tends to be mediocre, just decent enough to eat but not remarkable. There’s one pizza place in Michigan that I know is far superior, but unfortunately, that's quite a distance from Colorado Springs.“

“Borriello Brothers on Platte Ave is hands-down my favorite spot for pizza in the Springs. It’s the original location, and you can really taste the difference—authentic, thin-crust, foldable slices just like you’d get in New York.

Their pepperoni is classic. The garlic knots are perfect. The vibe is relaxed, local, and no-frills—exactly what a great pizzeria should be.

I also love that this is the last remaining location still, reportedly, run by the original owners. It’s got heart, history, and flavor. If you’re a pizza fan, this place is a must.“

I’ve been ordering their cheesy bread with a side of Alfredo sauce for almost 14 years only to walk in today at the location Tejon and Boulder just to be told they aren’t allowing the Alfredo sauce to be sold as dip anymore. The guy ringing me up told me they shouldn’t even be doing it and he didn’t have a way to ring up the sauce. I told him I’ve been ordering it for almost 14 years and he said, “well that’s gonna stop today.” It can’t be that hard to ring in a side of sauce. This is your typical Little Caesar pickup spot and was the closest to us in Monument, CO.
