“The food is great. Been here 3x and everytime the food is on point. Tonight was my daughters birthday so we decided to come to amicas for some delicious food. We got just that. But the service wasnt as good as the food, and not even from our server. She was wonderful, especially to the kids. But the bartender, who has never served us, followed us out of the restaurant to tell us to never come back on her assumption that we didnt tip. She said that my husband (who has never been to amicas without me) has caused issues before and she thought we didnt tip. We have never had issues before.... & we left a $20 bill on the table for a tip on a 79$ tab. 18% was suggested at 16$. We gave her a little over 25%, so im not sure where she had the right to say anything to us to ruin our experience when we didnt even know who she was either.😔”

“I have family friends in Salida, CO and was visiting in June. Mountain Phoenix coffee was recommended to me and I can honestly say I've never tasted anything like it! It is full-bodied and has layered notes that elevates it from the average one-note coffee. I'm back East now and have it shipped because I haven't found another coffee bean that tastes the same. Highly Recommend!”

“Historic, downtown location, funky faux Far East music/beatnik vibe/worthy cause papered walls sort of place. Seems to have a lot of business. Locally sourced baked goods but my muffin was underwhelming. When I asked what they were pouring, the person at the counter had a real answer- always a good sign. I hade a nice Guatemalan, medium body coffee.”

“It was off season. The dining area is separate from the order /pick up area, It was a little cool in there. The food was delicious, plentiful and heat hot, though I did have the ghost pepper patty melt it wasn't spice hot. Just yummy.”

I have an allergy to mushrooms, and we ordered the salad that has mushrooms, and they followed allergy guidelines to a T! Brought the salad out, changed gloves and then brought the mushrooms out. “Loved the spicy chai latte and barista was very nice. Lost star as the raspberry muffin was good in that it wasn’t overly sweet but it was slim pickens on the raspberry and dry. Came highly rated from family who love the Buena Vista location. Plan to return next time in town as again, loved the spicy chai latte!”

“WOW. I wanted comfort food and my friend brought me here. He hit the nail on the head- they literally have a comfort food section on the menu! Like green chili?! Well I love NM green chili better usually BUT this green chili is OUT OF THE PARK!!!! The server was super kind, attentive and respectful! Not to mention accommodating to some food changes. The French onion soup is the best I have had in a very long time! Maybe even better than that French bakery La Baguette in the springs! As soon as you walk in you just want to spin around and take everything in! There’s so much cool stuff to look at! Great ambiance! The sun hits just right in the windows at lunch time, and they have an epic street patio for those warmer days too! Presentation is everything and this place does an outstanding job at staging both the food and the establishment. New favorite restaurant in town! I will be back quite often while I work my way through the entire menu!”
