“I have family friends in Salida, CO and was visiting in June. Mountain Phoenix coffee was recommended to me and I can honestly say I've never tasted anything like it! It is full-bodied and has layered notes that elevates it from the average one-note coffee. I'm back East now and have it shipped because I haven't found another coffee bean that tastes the same. Highly Recommend!”

“The food is great. Been here 3x and everytime the food is on point. Tonight was my daughters birthday so we decided to come to amicas for some delicious food. We got just that. But the service wasnt as good as the food, and not even from our server. She was wonderful, especially to the kids. But the bartender, who has never served us, followed us out of the restaurant to tell us to never come back on her assumption that we didnt tip. She said that my husband (who has never been to amicas without me) has caused issues before and she thought we didnt tip. We have never had issues before.... & we left a $20 bill on the table for a tip on a 79$ tab. 18% was suggested at 16$. We gave her a little over 25%, so im not sure where she had the right to say anything to us to ruin our experience when we didnt even know who she was either.😔”

“Oh how I love it when a short order cook gets my breakfast JUST right! I like eggs over medium and bacon extra crispy. The eggs were perfect, and there is no place on the planet where you can find a better slice of extra crispy bacon. I don't know how they achieve such perfection with getting the whole strip extra crispy without any burning. My highest compliments to the cooks.”

“Stopped through here on our way to Lander - When we walked in, it smelled like chili cheese fries and I thought I was back at home for a hot minute. But I digress, we’re big coffee people and we also love to visit Colorado. This was the best coffee I’ve had to date in all our years of stops! Our cashier (Janene) was literally the sweetest and clearly loved her job. So much so that my daughter even mentioned how nice she was. We customized our drinks and she made my daughter something she loved. We would definitely stop here again!! Don’t pass this place up. If we had more time, we would have eaten here as well but still got a little sweet treat to go that was also delicious. We love supporting local places no matter where we go over big chains!!”

“WOW. I wanted comfort food and my friend brought me here. He hit the nail on the head- they literally have a comfort food section on the menu! Like green chili?! Well I love NM green chili better usually BUT this green chili is OUT OF THE PARK!!!! The server was super kind, attentive and respectful! Not to mention accommodating to some food changes. The French onion soup is the best I have had in a very long time! Maybe even better than that French bakery La Baguette in the springs! As soon as you walk in you just want to spin around and take everything in! There’s so much cool stuff to look at! Great ambiance! The sun hits just right in the windows at lunch time, and they have an epic street patio for those warmer days too! Presentation is everything and this place does an outstanding job at staging both the food and the establishment. New favorite restaurant in town! I will be back quite often while I work my way through the entire menu!”
