“Great locally produced food. Burger and hand cut fries were awesome ?. Hands down best burger in Salida and the Upper Arkansas Valley. Eric is extremely friendly and proud of his local eatery, and a Mega Widespread Panic fan. He was extremely busy on the Saturday we experienced his food, but he took the time to chat with us on his pet friendly patio dining area. Simple but quality tasting food. We'll be back... “We eat at the Boathouse every time we visit Salida, which is quite often. Every meal we have had has consistently top notch. Seriously, the salad dressings and dips are all made in-house, the drinks are yummy and no matter what meal we order , we've never been let down. Great service as well. “Not sure why this place doesn’t have an overall higher rating, I’d give it a 4.5 personally. Been here 3 times with friends and family and no one has ever been disappointed, we have all always really enjoyed the food! Great variety of burger and chicken sandwich options, the fries are massive (shareable for 3-4 people) and delicious! The onion rings are also super good. Haven’t had the milkshakes but my wife said they’re amazing. The service has always been really friendly and quick. The vibes inside are fun and cool. Given the price is comparable to everywhere else in town, this is a great place to eat with family and everyone should enjoy it!“
“Stopped for lunch on our way to Santa Fe and we were very satisfied, the menu was huge, Philly CB cheesesteak was unique and delicious. Dry rub wings are incredible and fresh. Fries were surprisingly good. We sat outside but it was windy so the guy told us about their indoor seating where there is a fireplace and comfortable seating.“
“This is our second time eating here and I can say the burgers are GREAT!! You order upfront and seat yourself and you will also pick up your own food from the kitchen window. You will bus your own table too. We absolutely did not mind it but it's something to get used to.Restaurant is clean and staff is friendly.“
“Someone send corporate to this McDonald’s so they can hire all of these employees for their training programs. This is the best McDonald’s in the state, maybe the country. The food is always fresh, hot, accurate, and served with a smile by almost every employee. 11/10. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I live here, eat here all the time, and have never had a bad experience“

Free salsa and chips before the meal. Salsa is basic but tasty - not too spicy and unfortunately they don't have a more spicy option.Loco Burrito is just that - insane. Literally includes all the different meat options in one burrito. Comes smothered in a melted jack cheese sauce and is massive! Street tacos are good. Lengua is tender. Al pastor has a good pineapple flavor. Carnitas is tender. Served with onions and cilantro. Only downside is you can't mix and match except on Tuesdays unless you order single, a la carte tacos (instead of the three-taco combo).Definitely recommended if you're in the area!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are certainly in the minority here but might be available.Parking: Plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: Kid & family-friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible.
