“We needed a break after driving over Red Mountain Pass so the grandkids and I stopped in Silverton to stretch our legs and wander around.
We were delighted to find an ice cream shop carrying Blue Bell ice cream! To make it even better, they had Huckleberry which I usually can only get when I'm in Montana! This cute little shop was very tidy with a small indoor seating area. They also had coffees, teas, some candy, and espressos.
The staff was very friendly, and patient with the grandkids. The portions were very generous and much appreciated as it was $20 for three double scoops of ice cream. I guess to some people that doesn't seem like much but to me it was a great deal. Guess that's one of the downsides of being older, lol.
Next time you're in Silverton Colorado, and you have a hankering for some Blue Bell, I highly recommend you pop into Goodies To Go!
