“Wonderful food. We had the breakfast croissant and the sunrise bowl and were very happy with delicious taste, size was plentiful! We also had an iced chai tea latte that was splendid. Service was so very friendly and efficient with a warm inviting feeling.Outdoor seating in a lovely area as well as indoors. Pastries looked spectacular and we will get two of their turnovers to go and will report back.If you are in the area go!!!!!.“
“What a charming place! Atmosphere, staff, service, drinks, and pastry all on point. Not just for coffee drinkers, either. They have a simple enough menu that you don't get lost in it, yet varied enough that they manage to include some truly unique options and lots of dietary customizations. Couldn't recommend this place enough. The only thing I wish (for them) is a change in location so they can be seen easier by more people.“
“Excellent coffee and beautiful chocolates! One of a kind chocolate gifts, high quality products and very predictable employees: they have all been pleasant and helpful no matter how busy the store is. We go every time we are in Grand Junction.“
“Great atmosphere at this fantastic coffee house. The farm-to-table food menu was an unexpected bonus! I really enjoyed my breakfast burrito with sweet potato, which was a nice twist.Parking: Free public parking lot behind building with 2 free EV chargers. On street parking is also free.“
“We were kicking off Sunday morning on our way back from a weekend on the west side of the state. The previous morning we did drive thru of a national chain out of convenience and it was not a pleasant experience. In the morning I need my caffeine and we wanted breakfast burritos. This checked all the boxes. Indicator one of good coffee and eats? A line to the door. The line moved swiftly and the service was pleasant and efficient. I got my large latte. Ahhhhh! We both enjoyed our breakfast burritos. They were amply packed with ingredients. We both had sausage. If I find myself in the area again, I will have a go to for my breakfast.“
“The Coffee Trader proved to be a delightful oasis during my long drive through charming Montrose. Nestled in the heart of this quaint locale, the welcoming ambiance and aromatic coffee drew me in instantly. The baristas exhibited a genuine friendliness, making the pit stop all the more enjoyable. The well-crafted coffee selections provided the perfect fuel for the remainder of my journey. If ever passing through this small town, The Coffee Trader is an absolute must for a rejuvenating break and a cup of finely brewed coffee.“

“The hubs & I love to get coffee on the Main Street of any town we visit. This location is a must visit for us when in Montrose!! He always gets the same thing (a medium mocha—hot, no whip) & loves it. I go with the barista’s recommendation & have always been delighted!! Cute coffee mugs for sale & a fun rack of cards to peruse while you wait!!“
“I wish this place had a cosier furniture inside! But... The outside does nice place tho relaxing place to meet up w friends n then food shop together! Staff could be a little more cheerful but all in all are hard workers and we appreciate them on a daily Basically lol! It's always nice and clean and displays are in order just wish they would set up the other couple they have stacked clear up the wall.“
“I stop by here every time I am passing through Montrose in the morning hours. They make really good bagels. They are delicious and aren't too big. They're the perfect ratio of bread if you get a bacon, egg and cheese which is my favorite. I get the everything bagel. They have really good coffee and lattes as well. Nice environment with local art for sale on the walls and bustling energy. Depending on when you arrive, there will likely be a long line but your food will be ready quickly enough. It might take 10-15 minutes but the food quality will be fresh and not undercooked for the sake of speed. Great place to stay or grab to go.“
“I absolutely love this place! Seemed like an odd idea at first but the workers always seem like theyre enjoying their time working!Especially the very few gentlemen who work there, if you come across them, they’ll give you outstanding service!I recommend trying them out if you haven’t!“
