“These guys have nailed it! Coming from the Chicago area, its been real difficult to find food that reminds me of home. These guys however, they are Cicero inspired. They taste exactly how the food in Cicero/Chicago taste. every time I eat there I get little hints of being home again. My family and I are regulars at this restaurant for this EXACT reason. “Friendly feel and huge portions of authentic, organic tasting food! The omelette was delicious with plenty of potatoes and your choice of a full pancake or toast! Even got a blueberry pancake at no extra charge! The parking lot is always full and it’s hard to find the first time! It’s back in the South west corner of the strip area. “Our first time dining at this place though we have wanted to go for a while after someone posted about it after they opened. Finally made it and glad we made reservations as it was packed since it was peak time Friday evening. Spoke with Koji-san, the owner, while we were waiting for our table and he also stopped by each table to check on them which we thought was great. We had the takoyaki, kaisen-mix okonomiyaki and the spicy miso ramen. All came within a reasonable amount of time and were delicious! Koji-san explained the background of offering takoyaki, which was so interesting and great for him to share. We will definitely be back to try the other menu items, esp their sushi, which looked delicious! Great to see a business busy and doing well!“

“We had Nopalito’s cater our baby shower this weekend and everything was perfect! The ease of setting up the order and picking the food up the morning of was great! All of our guests were excited about the food and raved about how delicious everything was. We got the Punch Out Nacho Bar and an order of the Veggie Flautas for about 30 people and there was more than enough that we’re enjoying nachos for a few dinners this week!

“We love The Brunch House. They definitely shine most with their Latin fare. And the Tres Leches French Toast is ABSOLUTELY delicious. We are super excited there is a new breakfast joint nearby. One thing they fall short on is veggie sauce options for their Mexican options. All of the food has pork green chile on it, so although they can make any plate vegetarian, it comes out pretty dry. Otherwise it's REALLY good! Sad to lose Emilios, but glad to see these guys thriving!“

I liked that the rolls were fairly straightforward. No super complicated names rolls with too many sauces and flavors.

Prices were also very reasonable. Much better than some of the places downtown. The vibe is much more mellow than other places but quite nice on the patio.“
