“These guys have nailed it! Coming from the Chicago area, its been real difficult to find food that reminds me of home. These guys however, they are Cicero inspired. They taste exactly how the food in Cicero/Chicago taste. every time I eat there I get little hints of being home again. My family and I are regulars at this restaurant for this EXACT reason. Apparently most of the US agrees aswell! Keep up the good work and great food!“

“I wanted to take a moment to share my experience at Morning Glory Cafe. A week ago, I made a reservation for a group of 11 people, and when we arrived, the table was perfectly set and ready for us. However, after we placed our orders, we waited over an hour and a half without receiving any food. This was brought to the attention of the staff, and understandably, frustration began to build on our end. Fortunately, the manager, Adolfo, addressed the situation beautifully. He sincerely apologized for the delay and explained that there had been a miscommunication regarding our order, which led to a significant mistake. To make amends, they comped our meals, which was greatly appreciated. Our waitress, Helen, was also very sincere in her apology. In a time when many establishments struggle to admit their errors, Morning Glory Cafe stood out by acknowledging their mistake and taking responsibility. We truly love this restaurant and deeply appreciate its integrity. I will always recommend Morning Glory Cafe to others! Thank you, Adolfo and Helen, for resolving this situation so effectively. “This was some of the best food we’ve had in a long time. I got the asada tacos and my fiancé got the torta with steak. We could tell that all of the ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the steak was so juicy and flavorful. Friendly and fast service too! We will definitely be back :)“

“This place is so awesome! Super dog friendly! Love that they have an off leash dog park on site. Inside is still dog friendly as well if it is too hot out. So glad that they make people show proof of rabies vaccine for the dogs so you know your dog is safe. Recommend registering your dog on their website so you don’t have to scramble to find your rabies vaccine records.
Super excellent selection of craft beers that always is changing. Love the sour beer selection especially.
I have been here dozens of times and will always go back. Their parties for their anniversary and other events are always off the hook and they go crazy with their decorations.

“5 stars is not enough for The Post. We came for the Thursday special of pot pie with three people who LOVE chicken pot pie. Our waiter Dominic was so helpful and friendly. He checked to make sure they still had pot pie and had them open every warmer to find us the last three in the building. It was worth the trouble. These pot pies were extraordinary. The crust is flaky and the middle just felt like comfort. The chicken has fantastic flavor.
We also enjoyed the chicken thighs as well as our 4th friend had a chicken sandwich. Everything was prepared hot and fresh. Do yourself a huge favor and go on a Thursday for this pot pie!!“

“The server was very good, but the menu was quite limited. Worst of all, main dish food portions were beyond paltry and as such, exorbitantly priced. After we were all served toddler sized dishes of our selected entrees and a piece of pie that was straight from the grocery store's freezer case, we left annoyed, hungry, and minus money that would have gone much further elsewhere. This place may have a great whiskey selection, but we came to eat in a self-labeled "publick house" that are known for "hearty fare" not Oliver Twist sized spoonfuls. Please sirs, may we have some more?“

“We love their food, but I don’t know why it says they offer takeout/curbside. For months I’ve tried to order by phone for takeout, but they don’t answer their phone! I’ve been told it’s because they would rather you came in to dine so that they can serve drinks and get tips. They forget that during Covid when you couldn’t dine in, it was the loyal customers that continued to order by phone for takeout that helped keep them in business. Too bad they don’t remember that.“
