That being said, this is the 4th time I've been in and I really have to say that Alex (Alexandrea) is seriously an exceptional server. I absolutely loved the food, no doubt about that. But I work in the restaurant industry, and have for 22 years. If I could steal her from your restaurant to my job, I would....but I wouldn't be able to have the experience that I continuously have when I go to Garden Gate in Niwot and have her as my server. “I went to check this place out and got their Fire-starter Burger with Sweet Potato Fries. The burger was cooked perfectly! Just the small amount of pink I was looking for. 😋 It had just the right amount of jalapeños and guacamole. Did I mention the burger is fairly decent sized for the price?!?! I have never had Sweet Potato fries this good either, most of the places I have gotten them from they are burnt and hard. The restaurant is casual dining and VERY CLEAN! The staff are friendly and amazing as well as VERY VERSED in Service Dog laws. I felt very safe and welcomed here with the calm atmosphere. I would DEFINITELY go back!!!“

“Flat out, best meal we've ever had. I'm going to be thinking of every course of that meal until the next time that I go. The wine pairing was perfect. Every sip of wine was good, every bite of food was wonderful, and then you put the two together and got another experience, distinct from the wine and food separately, but even more delicious. The staff was attentive, amazing, knowledgable, and so friendly. We sat at the bar and had a great time chatting with the bartenders while they told us about the food and wine and how it was working at the restaurant.

“I LOVE this place. It is authentic but suitable for America. Unlike other Chinese restaurants in the area who put tons of sugar and just unfreezes food, they have food like the ones you’d get in China. They come out with LITERALLY sizzling planes full of colorful, delicious, and varied with flavors. They also have amazing desert with almost an ice cream like texture and creamy for the cheesecake. I can tell they put tons of effort into the food making it suitable for Americans while staying authentic with the food.“

“Our first time dining at this place though we have wanted to go for a while after someone posted about it after they opened. Finally made it and glad we made reservations as it was packed since it was peak time Friday evening. Spoke with Koji-san, the owner, while we were waiting for our table and he also stopped by each table to check on them which we thought was great. We had the takoyaki, kaisen-mix okonomiyaki and the spicy miso ramen. All came within a reasonable amount of time and were delicious! Koji-san explained the background of offering takoyaki, which was so interesting and great for him to share. We will definitely be back to try the other menu items, esp their sushi, which looked delicious! Great to see a business busy and doing well!“

“I wanted to take a moment to share my experience at Morning Glory Cafe. A week ago, I made a reservation for a group of 11 people, and when we arrived, the table was perfectly set and ready for us. However, after we placed our orders, we waited over an hour and a half without receiving any food. This was brought to the attention of the staff, and understandably, frustration began to build on our end. Fortunately, the manager, Adolfo, addressed the situation beautifully. He sincerely apologized for the delay and explained that there had been a miscommunication regarding our order, which led to a significant mistake. To make amends, they comped our meals, which was greatly appreciated. Our waitress, Helen, was also very sincere in her apology. In a time when many establishments struggle to admit their errors, Morning Glory Cafe stood out by acknowledging their mistake and taking responsibility. We truly love this restaurant and deeply appreciate its integrity. I will always recommend Morning Glory Cafe to others! Thank you, Adolfo and Helen, for resolving this situation so effectively. “I’ve been here several times recently. It’s very casual, a simple no-frills atmosphere. The food is very, very good. They offer a split ramen option for sharing and to add extra ingredients as desired. The Izakaya sushi roll is terrific, delicate, and not served too cold. The curry is pleasantly mild: not too sweet or spicy, and very delicious. They have a few sake and beer options and many other dishes I haven’t yet tried. I recommend being patient as this isn’t fast food. They obviously care about the quality of ingredients and preparation, and I’ll be back, frequently.“

They brought us iced water and checked on us while we made towing arrangements (it was super hot outside!). We decided to make the best of a bad thing and wait in the distillery. The cocktails were incredible, the charcuterie was amazing, and the staff and atmosphere were great. Despite the situation, we thoroughly enjoyed our accidental afternoon at Spirit Hound and we look forward to returning on purpose one day soon!“

“I eat here frequently for lunch and dinner. Food is amazing, service is so friendly and knowledgable. Manager always come by the table to check on food+service. Recently brought a friend who has Coeliac and they were impressed with the food offerings and the care from servers and kitchen. I prefer the lunch specials because the soup choice are yummy! Of course the margaritas are famous for a reason! Lots of choices from the bar. Love the interior with plant walls and the roof top deck has views to die for! Highly recommend!“

Dinner with an old friend from Boulder while visiting from out of town. One of his favorite spots.

1. Food - really good, but not quite five stars. With the variety of options available in Boulder, the bar is high. Flavors were good, food was fresh, but the medium spice wasn’t spiced and the lamb saag was excessively oily.
2. Service was warm and generous. Best part of the visit.
3. Give the options for dining in Boulder, I think Gurkhas could elevate their position by decluttering their space and raising the bar on simple elegance. Elevated need not be expensive or pretentious.
4. Price - matched well for the quality and service

“I’ve been using Skratch for awhile. Switch between it and Tailwind but I prefer Skratch for my marathon training. The carb/ sodium ratio is exactly what I need for my fall race. The passion fruit guava is amazing. Wish it was not a limited edition flavor. All of the flavors are great as well. Definitely recommend Skratch“

It also has a really fun, laid back vibe. One of my favorite restaurants in Erie. We eat here probably once every two weeks, and it’s really easy to get dessert after because it’s connected to the ice cream parlor next door. Highly recommend it!“
