“I’ve been at the resort for a few days now. Hallowed Grounds has been a daily stop for me in the mornings. There is always at least 1 staff member here who is incredibly friendly and makes a rock solid espresso drink. I’ve tried cappuccinos, lattes and americanos and they all turned out as good as my local coffee shops back home (and noticeably better than Starbucks). The grab and go sandwiches are also surprisingly good and fresh.”

“We stopped in for nostalgia sake (we got engaged at Devil’s Thumb 26 years ago) and stayed for lunch on the deck overlooking the valley. The service was excellent, as was the food. We had the wagyu cheeseburger, tips and dips appetizer, ugly tomato salad and the wedge. Beautifully presented. Special shout out to Maicon and Ty for taking care of us. Thank you!”

“Jen was seriously the best. I absolutely love her bubbly personality. She makes you feel so happy. I was able to hang out and read while my boyfriend skied the mountain. I would highly recommend the spinach and feta croissant with chai tea for breakfast and the chicken bacon ranch panini for lunch.”

“To start their was some confusion with getting 9 seated. They got it figured out and all worked out just fine. However, if it wasn’t a weeknight I do not think it would have been possible. We ordered ahi tuna ceviche, lobster tacos and surf + turf tacos …. Everyone really enjoyed. Strawberry Fresca was delicious (nice to have a yummy drink option that’s non alcoholic). No kids menu but waiter was super accommodating, recommended less spicy menu items, and even made some chicken tenders for part of our group. Will definitely come back.”

“Prices are ridiculous for quality and ingredients. I was charged $16 for a plate of nachos with no queso, tiny hard bits of pork, and refried beans from the can. No heat on anything. Their cheese quesadilla is $15 (cheese and flour tortilla).”
