My husband and I came in for dinner and it was so delicious. We started with the queso fundido with chorizo, so tasty. My husband had the enchiladas de carne asada and I had the chicken flautas. Food tasted authentic and reminds me of the food my mom makes. (She’s from Mazatlan). The chupacabras drink was excellent and definitely suggested if you like spicy. We finished with a refreshing flan. Overall we enjoy our first time here, and we will be returning!
Best restaurant we ate at while visiting Vail. The tacos and sopes were fantastic, as well as the kind friendly waitress Liz that went above to make our dinner so enjoyable. She also recommended other dinner items that we also tried on other nights when we dined there. We highly recommend this exceptional restaurant when visiting Vail

Del Toro Mexican Cuisine in Vail is a favorite for visitors and locals alike. Guests call it the best restaurant they ate at while visiting Vail and return every time they are in town. The tacos and sopes are fantastic, and the chicken tacos are great, with condiments brought to customize them. The delicious guacamole could be a meal, but save room for other delicious entrees, and the queso dip comes recommended. The Tiallpeno soup and house salad were so good, and the Golden Pineapple with chicken and shrimp was phenomenal. The Chicken Enchiladas with three different sauces were loved, with the Chipotle sauce a favorite next to the mole. The house made Flan and Choco Flan were the perfect ending to a perfect meal. Drinks might be the star, but the food is top notch. Service is kind, friendly, and exceptional, and the staff takes really good care of guests, even when they are loud. A son's prenup dinner was hosted here, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. This exceptional restaurant is highly recommended for any type of celebration when visiting Vail.
