“we were in the area for a mini vacation (my sister and i). initially we were walking to the brunch nearby but as we were passing by, we changed our minds and went in. after seeing the cowboys game on, we sat down near the TV it was on. I asked if it was possible to change the TV behind my sister as well since we will be sitting across from one another. it was playing the Olympics races and nobody was watching (1 booth other than us and 4 people bar top). after it was changed, we ordered our food and drinks. a kitchen staff joked about the cowboys with friendly bantar before returning to the kitchen. shortly after, the general manager (I was unaware at the time) came from the kitchen and changed it again. I said excuse me several times to him and got 0 acknowledgement. the bartender shrugged his shoulders and looked away from me. I spoke to Anthony as there wasn't much time left on the game. Anthony attempted to talk to him and he said there were people watching the game. the game which was not put on until AFTER we requested the change. while I'm not one to sweat small stuff, I work in customer service and with 6 mins left on a preseason game, what's the harm? at least acknowledge me when I speak to you. let's come to an agreement. instead, I turned my chair around and waited to eat the appetizers sitting behind me on the table until the game was over (a whopping 4 mins) I don't get time to catch many games, was on vacation and wasn't being rude about it. i love sports and trust, I would've been stoked to catch the baseball game he changed it to AFTER the football game. and I would've been the only customer paying attention then too. so finally I was loud and thanked Anthony for his friendly demeanor and caring about his customers. I said it very loudly since I could not get acknowledgement when speaking politely and directly to him. what do ya know? now we hear me in the kitchen and have plenty to say. with music playing and food being prepared no less! I enjoyed the food. probably the best wings I've had in ages! the beer cheese soup was delicious. I enjoyed our waiter's customer care. without him, we would've walked out. food is top notch. caring about customers, not entirely priority. we don't visit often so it isn't a huge loss that we won't be returning because of one person. Definitely ask for Anthony if you do go!“

“Great place. EXCEPT they need some regular tables towards the front. The only ones they have now is back in the kiddy section. I took a handicapped lady who can't use the high drinker's tables. The kid section was full. We were forced to go down the street.“

“Good people at this bar. This friendly guy named Chan, bought us two old white guys a round because we genuinely liked him. He told us, in no uncertain terms, that he really appreciated the fact we showed no anti-Asian hatred. I can’t even imagine as such. “I’m not one to review. I always forget but holy moly this place is amazing! The food is beyond amazing. I ordered the grilled kielbasa with sauerkraut and fried potatoes on one occasion, which was off the charts! The Bavarian pretzel yes I know it’s just a Bavarian pretzel, but not this one and not the cream cheese garlic dip it comes with holy Mary mother of God. It is amazing. I will never look at beer cheese, the same again after having this,.I hate to keep using that word, but it is nothing short of amazing!! then the burgers, the burgers are just seasoned perfectly and I just can’t stress how good this food is at this establishment if you’re ever off of Broadway and Maple stop in you will not be disappointed!!“

“Great little grill right on the golf course. The view is of rolling hills and mountains. It has a couple of TV's and a bit of a sports bar vibe. The food is what really shines. The menu has a little bit at everything. You have to try hard not to find something that you like. We had a chicken Caesar salad and Adobo chicken tacos. Both were really well prepared and had generous servings. The Adobo tacos were a little spicy and had a great flavor.“

“Ship Rock Grille is a gem right at Red Rocks. While it has a limited menu given show constraints, ask for any specials (which are also posted on a sandwich board at the entrance). We had the reuben special, and couldn't say enough good about it. The only problem, and thus the lack of a 5-star rating, was a foul up on our order, where only one order was delivered and it took almost half an hour for that to be corrected, when it should have been immediately rectified.“

“Honestly, the hot wings made me want to throw them right in the trash after paying $12 for them. I don't like turkey legs or bigger wings like that I like the little mini ones that taste perfect aside from that. “We stumbled upon this place with my wife just wanting to have dinner at a rooftop bar before we left Denver. Just our luck there was a Colorado Rockies game going on and vs the Chicago Cubs, so this place was packed, but we were able to get a seat pretty quickly on the roof. Service was really good even with it being packed. The food was great. No complaints we all enjoyed our meals. We ended up noticing that everyone there was a Chicago Cubs fan so we asked the waiter and he said they were the official Chicago Cubs bar of Denver Karma so it's crazy that we were there while the Cubs were in town. Made the atmosphere even more fun. The staff was super nice,matter of fact I had to leave to go get some aspirin for my daughter and the bouncer downstairs gave me great directions to find the 7-Eleven. Good size place they have a pretty large bar area downstairs and naturally the rooftop is pretty often to get a good view of Denver and you can see Coors field. Definitely would come back here especially if the Cubs were playing in town or on tv, probably on TV would be better because once the game started this place cleared out. In the really coolest thing is we ended up meeting the lead guitarist Chantry Johnson of The Cab, how cool is that! This is definitely a good hangout place! Highly recommend.“
