“I have been a customer of Maria Empanada for over a decade, since its original location on Morrison Rd. The food at Maria Empanada is amazing!!!…as long as it is fresh. There continues to be inconsistencies with their quality. Often if you go early in the day, you will purchase day old food and the difference is quite noticeable. Today was no exception. I got medialunas and they were disappointingly stale and the empanadas more toasted aka from yesterday. This is my go to and i wish it was consistently good.“

“It was our first time to the freedom social food court, and we went right for the steak, bison Burger and chorizo empanadas at this place. Really well done, steak was cooked perfectly and very flavorful, with some added chimichurri for freshness. The empanadas were super buttery and flaky and had a really good amount of flavorful filling. The bison Burger also packed a lot of flavor. Loved our first experience so we'll definitely be back.“

“I'm a big fan. Our waitress was great and we went on a Monday evening and it was pretty quiet - great service. The ceviche/tuna was really great and the rice is amazing. I didn't know rice could be so good. All the dishes we tried were very tasty - house bread, chorizo, lamb, pollo a la brasa, papas bravas all really good. but you really do have to try the arroz con coco. Also, I think the churros are the best I've ever had.“

“Pretty decent empanadas for an ok price on the 16th Street Mall. There's a lot of choices, which can make it hard to pick, but they are all pretty yummy, especially after a quick blast in the oven. They are more on the small side for empanadas, which is fine I guess“

“I fell in love with this place immediately, the empanadas were fresh, hot, and flavorful, made me feel like I was right by the beach where I first had my first empanada. I was very impressed by their flavors and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to bring the beach side home.these were by far the the most flavorful empanadas I’ve had. They definitely made me feel like I was right back in south beach Florida enjoying them by the waves. Highly recommend! Staff was also very friendly :)“

“we came in for a bday celebration, and your site asks if there is any special occasion... why would you ask and then not acknowledge? Also we come in almost every week and usually sit at the bar and eat/drink. When we ordered our dinner, it all came out on one platter, no side plates, and it was all shoved together, difficult to understand the logic. Also we always order the queso fundido with the chorizo and Guac. the queso tasted burnt and had a ton of the oil in it so it was also very watery because of the amount of the chorizo oil? We made a comment to the waitress.... no real acknowledgment . Also we waited on the Childs coke until after all the other drinks were delivered and the apps, we had to remind her twice to bring it out. Needless to say we were a bit embarrassed since we had really hyped up the place and then just seemed to be disappointed with a ton of things. Maybe we just need to sit at the bar?“

“Crossed off my fourth new (to me) restaurant of the year and first in February tonight. Thanks to Lady Nomada in Arvada for such a delish meal! Their specialty taco - fried avocado - was mouth watering. I also had a Baja fish taco and couldn’t help but sneak in a carnitas taco, too. Super cool vibe and friendly staff; I’ll definitely be back again!“

“Just discovered Zocalito this weekend!!!! DELICIOUS 😋 The service was top notch, the menu was unique, and the prices are very fair. I had the Chicken Relleno and there was not a bite left. Highly recommend!!!! I will most certainly be returning, as this may be one of my new favorite restaurants!“

“The absolute best coffee shop in Denver! I ordered the Horchata Latte which was served hot in a traditional red clay mug. My beverage was smooth had a delicate body, a gentle sweetness and fruitiness, and an acidic snap to finish off the experience. There was ample, clean space to sit with friends in the courtyard right outside with chairs and tables. The shop was colorfully complimented with locally made goods, homemade Mexican pan dulce, and offered so much more than coffee. They even make atole which takes me back to my childhood! I can't wait to try everything on their menu. This is my new favorite place in Denver and will quickly become yours too!“

“We came at lunch toward the end and was disappointed the edamame was only at dinner. Or server tried as we only wanted a snack. And the chef said no and we got a buffalo burger and split it. We got ignored. And when the food came out it wasn't hot. The fries were cold. He didn't come back and check on us right away. I felt like since we were a cheap table and it was at the end of the service time our service was less. And the gentleman seemed annoyed. He was tipped well. But service lacked. We will come back it just disappointing on the service side.“
