“This place is always the first place I think about after I get done with a baseball tournament in Windsor! The pizza is excellent, the pizza rolls are money, maybe a little bit pricey; but delicious. My favorite is the Italian Hot Melt with a side of aju sauce! Absolutely priceless! “The three of us came to the hearth on a slow Saturday afternoon, atound 1pm. There was a decent amount of people at the bar and the dinning area was mostly empty. At first it took us 5 mins from sitting down to get a server to acknowledge us. I was disappointed by this but the feeling went away once our server came. Our server was friendly attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We tried the $2 deviled eggs which I found over priced but the ingredients tasted fresh, but on the salty side. If you are sensitive to salt maybe try another appetizer.
I asked the server for a recommendation, this being our first time, he recommended the bacon and fig. Much like other reviews the cheese was lacking. The pizza crust was made well crunchy but not hard.
The kids pizza was huge and my little loved it. Overall after a rough start The Hearth's employees made the overall experience pleasant.“

“**WINDSOR DELIVERY is through DOORDASH!** I ordered through the website but the restaurant missed something (did not add meatballs we paid $7 for). When I called Roma a very rude girl answered and said nothing could be done, that it was DD’s fault Roma got the order wrong, then insisted she used to be a manager and knew there was nothing that could be done. Luckily an actual manager stepped in (I believe his name was Kyle) and contacted DoorDash and got us a refund for food we didn’t receive. Kudos to him for displaying empathy and helping resolve the matter. But it was absurd I had to insist 10 times to the first girl that I didn’t place my order through DD nor have the app on my phone nor know how to contact them directly (maybe that’s the reason she’s no longer a manager?). Regardless, the food we did get was very delicious and we appreciated all of Kyle’s help. But we’ll order takeout from now on.“

“For those who drive by or order delivery from this Pizza Hut, you probably should stop in. They remodeled the interior a few years ago, and frankly it is a lot nicer than before. I like to order carry-out as they have a GREAT deal if you order online. We eat pizza from a number of places around Windsor, but I'll say that since I found that deal we 'gravitate' to 'the HUT'. The staff is consistently nice and talks with me as I pay for my order...though I will say I have not been in our Pizza Hut when it is crowded and loud since like 2015. Makes for a comfortable experience enjoying a Pizza in my opinion.“

“I ate at The Sand Bar last night. It's down in the basement of the main restaurant clubhouse (upstairs on the main level is their fine dining). The booths are like golf cart seats, and the ceiling is painted blue like the sky with wraparound accent lighting behind a little shelf that's recessed in the ceiling. The cheeseburger I got was a bit too dry, and the tots could've been sprinkled with seasoning. The Key Lime Pie was good but very sweet. The standout for me was the chicken taco! They put about as much chicken and cheese as would fit in it. I certainly feel like I got my money's worth. It tasted delicious. After the dry burger, the chicken was nicely seasoned and dripping with juice.
The sink in the men's room was broken, meaning they needed to reattach the faucet to the granite sink. Water still came out and I could wash my hands. They said someone else also let them know and that they'd put in a work order to get it fixed.
But the most unpleasant thing about the whole meal last night was the obnoxiously loud guy sitting at the bar dropping frequent f-bombs. Looking over at another family table of 4, they seemed to be a bit uncomfortable and glaring over at him. Look, I get it. People get loud, rowdy, and drunk at a bar. I'm not a member here, but I have worked at a few country clubs. Stuff like that might happen out on the golf course, but never in the restaurant in front of children and more elderly members. At the very least, I don't think it unreasonable for one of the bartenders or managers to have asked the guy to speak a little quieter so that the whole restaurant didn't have to hear his many conversation topics and vulgar language.“
