“This restaurant has been around since I was a kid. Best Sunday breakfast and dinner. Homemade pies 🥧 My favorite is the corn-beef hash with blue berry pancakes . Affordable, tasty 😋 & home cooked ❤️”

“Lots of regulars and a friendly atmosphere. The bargoerd will help you with your order, have a conversation, whatever you need. Great place to get a beer and enjoy yourself after a day on the water. Also the coldest beer which is the best.”

“As a whole I think almost every other sandwich chain is better than subway but there are none in this area so when I feel like a sandwich I drive here. The food is what it is. What makes me purchase from this store is the service. The staff here are EXTREMELY friendly and always make me feel welcome. When I come for a late dinner the store is always slow and the staff are ALWAYS cleaning instead of standing around on their phone like I see other places. Youre hard work is noticed!”

“WOW!!!! I lived in France for 8 years and have traveled through much of Europe……Bounom is hands down the VERY BEST bakery that I have ever been to!!!! My mother and I are fairly accomplished cooks and bakers so are very aware of quality……..we do not eat grocery store pastries….they may be convenient and less expensive but are very poor quality……Kamla makes everything by hand with top quality ingredients the morning that they are sold…..basically, you get what you pay for!!!!!! Top quality ingredients are expensive! You can order online the day before to make sure that you are able to get what you want, they often sell out early. If you want discount store prices, then go to the discount store……Bounom products are EXCEPTIONAL and very much worth the price!!!!! In addition the staff are extremely friendly and helpful!!!! My NUMBER ONE RECOMMENDATION for a bakery !!!! Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to their wonderful goodies!!! I would give them 10 stars if I were able!!!”

“With the move just down the street, Beanz and Co & The NE pasta co transformed itself to another level. The place is spacious and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting. In addition to the main dining area, There are three separate seating areas: a room with comfy seats for a small group of talkers, a back room for a quieter setting and a third room perfect for a work meeting or small group of friends or couples.

I love the inclusion of staff with challenges, otherwise may not have this positive opportunity. 💜

The catering is great; I’ve taken home a number of delicious family meals.

The restaurants are run by family and friends creating a place like home. They are always nice and friendly.🌹

I can vision this business holding events in the evening, such as family celebrations or book clubs or small bands.

“There is no other restaurant in northern CT that makes me more excited to visit than Germains. Every single item on the menu is incredible, all of the weekly specials are sensational and the entire staff is friendly, helpful and take pride in the service they provide. Germains is the template of how the modern breakfast, brunch, family owned restaurant should be run. Prices are fair, the website is always updated and the team is not afraid to delve into unique and exciting creations for the foodies of the world. Let me put it like this… when Jesus held the last supper I would not have been surprised if he was serving Germains catering. If I was a convict on death row I would very very much consider a Germains special to be my last meal. If I were to describe a perfect day it would be a Germains breakfast sandwich, a round of golf, a Germains lunch wrap followed by an afternoon on the lake. This place is incredible! 11/10 recommend and thank you for all you do! My only ask is maybe consider opening on Sundays 😉”

“Dirk & Co prepared an outstanding menu for my wife’s birthday party- we had 18 people and everyone commented how great the food and tastes were- a few said they were not fans of Thai cuisine before they tried the Green Papayas food… and even they came away big fans! “Been going here for over a decade, and Harvest remains the best breakfast/brunch/bakery in the area. They have fresh baked items in the bakery case daily that are priced reasonably, and their scones are THE BEST with great flavor and spot-on texture. Dining in, I always enjoy the Farmer's Benedict with a side of fresh baked sourdough toast. I prefer my eggs poached hard, and they gladly accommodate this request. On top of the most amazing food, the friendly staff, great service, and a cozy atmosphere makes every experience dining in a pleasure!”

“Good afternoon folks! With Starbucks in Avon closed for construction, I’ve been a the hunt for a new coffee place. Yesterday, I tried Coffee Trade for the first time. I was beyond impressed. The coffee was delicious and made with on site roasted beans. The prices are extremely reasonable, way cheaper than Doms or any competing shops. They had countless exciting flavors, I want to attempt to try them all. The atmosphere was so great and unique. And, the employees are truly fantastic and helpful. It’s hard nowadays to find a business with strong morals and sense of community. I felt immediately welcomed at Coffee Trade. I went back today and once again was impressed. If you haven’t tried this place yet and are a true coffee lover, it’s worth a visit. Their outdoor patio is also lovely and great to spend a relaxing morning. I’ll be sure to be back and make this part of my regular routine. My only regret is not trying it sooner 😂”

“My husband and I go there nearly every Sunday for our “date day” and the waitresses are all super friendly and accommodating. They give you a lot of food and the home fries are perfect! We started going there because we hate all the local places home fries. They are well done and seasoned just right! The food ALWAYS comes out very quickly! Definitely recommend going here.”

“Stopped by on Christmas Eve because my family tries cheese pizzas from 3 different places and ranks them. ABC was top choice. Every family member ranked their pizza as flavorful and the perfect combination of sauce, cheese and crust. In addition to amazing pizza, I had the most wonderful conversation with the owners. My family is also not local Ct native similar to the owners. The family were so warm and inviting. We will be returning and trying more things in the menu!”

“I went into Giv for the first time this morning to pick up some whole bean coffee, have an Americano, and experience a proper cafe/roaster for the first time. The staff were incredibly friendly and really seemed to be enjoying the work that they were doing, which made the whole atmosphere super welcoming. I ordered an Americano which was incredible, and looking around definitely gave me confidence that the other drinks were equally good. They have a good selection of whole coffee beans and I really appreciated that they had some pour over gear from Hario (Switch and V60 kits, plus filters). Being able to pick those up locally and support a local business rather than Amazon is a huge plus. 10/10, I hope to become a regular there.”
